Wrong, at least in the US. Children may consume alcohol as part of religious observances.

Doesn´t sound very solacing for atheists, does it? Yes also here teenagers take 1 ml of wine at church services, but that hardly meets their (or anyone´s) expectations on a Friday evening at the disco.

In any case, the correct way to think about it is that parents have the right to refuse alcohol on behalf of their children.

If the state doesn´t ban but the parents do, even worse for the child, because then _the friends_ get it but this child won´t. I think there should be a law that children have _rights_, and their parents have the power to ensure that children use their rights safely and reasonably. I don´t think it is fair that parents have the right to make 5 - 8 years of their children´s lives equal to a jail sentece with all joys taken away and banned.

Most minors work long days and extra hours late to the evening, many of them longer than their parents. Guess where, and that is an obligatory service. I don´t see sense in that either, banning short day jobs from children, and instead obliging them to long study days + as much homework as the sadistic teacher ever wants to give, without anyone checking the clock card how many total weekly hours the minor actually works for his studies.

Are you a chatbot? Seriously, this argument makes no sense. We have actual rape victims bravely testifying about the harm that oversexualization in their youth caused them later in life. And then we have you arguing, it appears, that sending children to school is functionally equivalent to sending them to work in a sweatshop.
