Yes, you could identify planes by DNA.
Wow. Classic.

The hijackers turned them off or in the case of UAL175 they turned it to a different code.
We tracked AAL11 after the trnsponder was turned of, using primary radar, but primary radar just gives you a raw return from the aircraft skin. No altitude data.
Indy Center lost AAL77 since they didn't have primary radar in the location where AAL77 was hijacked therfore they had no radar data what so ever.
It was a smart move by the hijackers, it delayed ATC's initial response, wondering whether the aircraft was having an electrical failure or some other type of emergency.
So? What's inaccurate about what I said? The planes were not tracked or identified. No plane that crashed on 9/11 ended with a transponder code it started out with.

What you say does not mean anything. Your statement sounds stupid. So? What's inaccurate about what I said? The planes were not tracked or identified. No plane that crashed on 9/11 ended with a transponder code it started out with.
You ever see those old shows about the Klondike Gold Rush, when an eager prospector would find something in his sifting pan, would jump up and run around with the little nugget in his hand, screaming and yelling "gold, gold, gold", only to find out all to quickly that it was Pyrite.
The truthers sift the internet in search of that true nugget of gold that will make them "The Most Famous Truther of All Time" (TM). Unfortunately for them, the internet only holds little specs of Pyrite.

Walter Huston - his son John was also in the movie business.Great analogy.........taking it a little further, just like Humphrey Bogart in the film "The Treasure of Sierra Madre" who invests his whole life into the hunt for his little shiny "nuggets" but ends up with raging paranoid Cabin Fever as a result. Oh and we are the wise old guy from that film (can't remember his name, Walter something?) just like your poll shows :-]

You guys come in here like a stampede but not one of you can tell me why that flight data was so F'ed? Someboday said they had the FAA radar. Where is it.
It should be noted for all those non-pilots, that turning the transponder "off" is putting the knob on the upper right to STBY(standby) as shown. To put it in simple terms even a twoofer might understand. When the transponder is on standby, the signal go bye-bye.What you say does not mean anything. Your statement sounds stupid.

You turn the knobs and set a code, it is assigned by ATC, the pilot enters the code. The terrorists were pilots, some turned the transponder off, some changed the code. So? Cheap Shot explained from an ATC point of view, and you failed to understand what he said, or the crap you spewed.
The RADAR data is stored and you can track the planes after they fly. The RADAR data shows 175 lined up on the WTC and witnesses watched 175 impact the WTC.
The gullibility of the new guy is due to his shallow research, your proclivity to believe idiotic ideas is standard.
Why would anyone analyze the video. That information is obtained from the TSD which is based on flight plan data contained in the flight plan and is updated every 3 minutes as long as the aircraft is "flat tracked" an ATC term that you wouldn't know. After the planes impacted the towers, they would become a "free track" which is outside of the parameters of the route of flight. Then after about two to three minutes without any radar update it would become a "coast track" which means it just kinds of floats around. This is how that system works.
If you want to look at something look at 911files radar data, just because something has bells and whistles and a nice little picture doesn't make it real. TSD data is nothing more that a snapshot in the past of radar data, and only when the tracks are being updated.

Back yourself up

Thanks for these useful informations. Is there a significant difference between TSD and ASD?
