Did you give what's left of the Stop Sylvia Browne pinata honorary incineration in the fireplace after Goblet of Fire finished?
 
We put the Sylvia bits up on a shelf to take to the next get-together. Thanks everyone for coming, it was a blast! And the tamales were incredible!

So I went down with a turkey and the fixings. Her Bulgarian roommates were confused, but it was all good.
 
Well, here I sit, finally back on the Cape tired but happy. Unfortunately, I was so busy cooking and showing how to make tamales, I didn't get a chance to get my camera out to take pictures. I'm glad I got to share this year's Thanksgiving weekend with y'all though. :D

For those that weren't able to make it, all of your apologies are accepted.

Mattfn and ShowerComic have also made it home... and just as MA had guessed in the order and time difference all three of us were going to arrive home... we did.

Very, very fun and very.......insightful! Now to see what they took pictures of on my camera while I was at work!

I missed everyone who couldn't make it although there was a big turnout. I had a blast! And now I know how to properly prepare dried chilis. And that Seismic Cowgirl can be a mean drunk on two thirds of a bottle of ruby port ;)

Great pics! I should note that Dr. Buzzo checked my house for radioactive material. We are safe, the only hot thing he found was a little bit of old sea-glass.

KittyNH: We missed you but I certainly understand that you would choose your own Kitten over us :D
 
Sorry I missed it. I didn't get back from NY until Friday night. Still Louie enjoyed Thanksgiving (got lots of snacks and got to visit with his dog cousins).
 
Ari was the only dog in attendance. She did a pretty good job of suppressing her overwhelming wimpyness enough to let people pet her a little. She's one of those dogs who is stuck in a sort of catch-22. She is friendly and wants attention from the big scary people who tower menacingly above. But they seem too dangerous to get near...
 
Well, judging from the photos of all the attractive and interesting people, I should really have made an extra effort to get to this. Of course Thanksgiving dinner with my 97 year old aunt and many cousins (There are a lot of 'em, and we all get along great) was a delight, and the late friday visit to the guy with 13 TV sets in his livingroom was.... um.....interesting.

Mumchup and her partner really know how to hold a party, and I hope another one is planned at some future time. Meanwhile, how about some more photos?
