A definition of free will

But choice means confusion as I see it. And I feel kind of a relief when thinking about the possibility of reducing confusion in my mind. Of course, the idea must be tested to see if it really works in practice, and that's a bit difficult it seems. I guess the human mind has become very conditioned to use choice-making for dealing with things. And such deep habit takes time to change probably.

Why would I have any interest in changing how I make decisions? You seem to be motivated to. Why is that? What's not working with your current decision cycle?

Incoherent word salad.

It was a bit short description perhaps. To elaborate a bit:

Choice and fear go together, since there is always uncertainty in every choice even after the choice has been made. Even for trivial choices! Because a choice, no matter what the choice is about, is always related to the rest of the person's life. Hence choice will always go together with fear.

Partial responsibility has the same problem since partial responsibility means uncertainty and we are back into confusion and fear again.

No, you're still not the least bit compelling. Good luck the next time you go to an ice cream shop.

Wouldn't be so quickly dismissive. That statement you quoted and claimed not compelling was sensible in majority. Whether compelling or not, is irrelevant.
