911Blogger - Fading Away?

I don't bother posting at 911blogger anymore. It is just another fraudulent site in a long list of fraudulent self-proclaimed truth sites that certainly don’t push the truth.

As far as I'm concerned blogger is just a constant commercial for the lies pushed by AE911. I’m almost sure the owners of the site get some money from AE for pushing their crap. (I don’t know if Erik Larson is still connected with blogger, but if he is, he is a decent person that cares about the truth and I don’t include him when I talk ill of the site)

From what I have observed most of the people there pretend to be for the truth, but are nothing but scoundrels manipulating well-meaning people with lies and asking for their hard earned money. Some are in it for attention or whatever else, but it’s not because their main concern is the truth. While some other just don't know any better and believe the garbage coming from the scoundrels.

There is only a very small handful of people out there that I consider genuinely interested in the truth about 9/11 and none of them can be found at 911blogger anymore.

I don't know if he is involved anymore, but when he was, he got money or a salary through AE911.

I'm pretty sure both sites share the same "board of directors" or whatever you want to call it.

911Blogger has become a "subsidiary" of AE911.

AE911 promotes lies and seems to have embraced the other 911 conspiracy theories since there is a wider sales demographic.

The majority of posters at 911Blogger have become anonymous morons who pat each other on the back for the others stupidity.

I feel there is a lot of overlap, with both AE911T and 911Blogger being firmly in the "CD, yes planes, no exotic weaponty except thermite" camp. However, some of the moderators of 911Blogger, such as orangutan (Ted Tilton jr.) or LeftWright (John W. Wright) don't play any role at ae911t as far as I can tell - and vice versa.

911Blogger may be struggling financially - they depend on a handful (really just a handful: 5 or 6) sustainers. We are talking about dozens of dollars per month, no more (it's only a website with moderate traffic!). So I am fairly sure that thrifty Dick isn't helping then out with money.
 
Moderators are different than the actual owners of the site.

It's all about demographics.

Most websites want traffic, activity, commenters, etc..

Take away the CD issue and what is blogger left with?

Just think how much more 911Blogger would be struggling if they didn't support AE911 and their conspiracy theories.

From what I have learned, money trumps truth.

What money are you talking about?
And what do you consider as "struggling"?

911Blogger is self-censoring. It's their choice, and they can choose this quite independently from AE991T. If they were more open (towards the saner to tell them that CD is bunk as well as towards the even nuttier), they'd have more traffic, more debate. I guess they just don't want that.

So how, really, are they struggling? And in what way are they dependent on ae911t?

I'm not sure this is true. Gage really has the only active "campaign" in this market. There really is no other factions that have any support for any "theory" that does not support CD.

Outside of a complete about face (including away from ("truth"), I don't see them gaining any more support by allowing discussions that go against the grain of the "truth" core. They don't want negative feedback to help them refine their "theory". Hell, they don't even have a "theory".

They get little spikes every anniversary, saw that with the google search index stats recently posted too... but the yearly traffic in general is in clear decline.

From their FAQ:

Keogh is a funny man.

He posts using his real name; runs this as a publicly listed company, so clear and available records are out there.
But then registers his personal web domains (911encyclopedia.com, 0x1a.com) anonymously by proxy.
 
Just noticed that the site seems to be down. The Wayback Machine shows no captures since March 10.

Was down yesterday, is back up today.

The site has 1 blog post and 5 comments in total so far in 2023.
