I am not the only one who is beginning to be skeptical about the quality of your education and the quality of research you've done in other areas. Your primary evidence (visit to the site) is not a visit to an original site (but after cleanup was done, and you don't know what was done to the area you viewed) -- at best, this is corrupted evidence that you are founding your belief on.
The rest of the evidence -- I'm frankly shocked that someone who calls themselves a scientist would accept any of it.
For those of you who aren't scientists, "evidence" falls into several categories -- direct confirmed evidence (someone who watched the whole event along with others who watched it), secondary evidence (which would include ALL the available UNEDITED AND UNENHANCED footage and photos of the event), tertiary evidence (news reports and news footage) and then it gets into the "not suitable for study" category.
Youtube videos of news footage, enhanced and edited and recopied (quaternary source or worse) is NOT suitable evidence of anything -- as I'm sure you here on JREF are well aware.
There are a lot of people who declare themselves to be scientists who have few papers published in any reliable source. When you get your Masters', they make you take courses on "how to do research" -- and you get it when you take your PhD courses as well. By the time they turn you loose, you should have a good understanding of how to do research.
Using cherry-picked quaternary sources with no chain of authority or provenance is lame, shameful, and borders on the deliberately fraudulent. It has no place in science.
It surprises me that someone who claims to be a scientist doesn't immediately recognize the flaws and ineptitude in evidentiary chains in this matter.
