Merged 9/11 No Plane/Energy Weapon discussion thread

DEW's isn't my gig, so I'll just point you to the website and book "Where Did The Towers Go?" by Judy Wood.

Nope. Not good enough.

I'm not asking you to provide detailed schematics or anything, just tell me what Judy Wood has said that makes you believe her, and explain the evidence that convinced you.

Let's do a little thought experiment. Let's assume that I claim that unicorns exist. You would, I assume, ask me what my evidence is, where the unicorns can be found and why no one has ever seen one before. I respond by saying "Unicorns aren't my gig, so just go to the website and read the book The Unicorns Among Us by A. Lunatic."

Is that a satisfactory answer? Of course it isn't! I made the claim unicorns existed. Even if my assumption was based on the work of someone else, I should be able to explain what evidence led me to agree with A. Lunatic and why I find that convincing. I am afterall insistent that unicorns are out there, so in order for the debate to actually have a point I need to be able to back up my side with evidence, even if it's slightly simplified or not absolutely 100% complete. I wouldnt' have to provide detailed biology to back up my unicorn claim, but I'd sure as hell have to give a reason to even entertain what is prima facie a ludicrous departure from reality.

You are asking for proof of something that couldn't be seen.

By design, too. See how the discussion of whether planes hit the buildings has bogged down with this ridiculous thread? It's what truthers do. Dr Dust isn't interested in finding common ground, she's interested in keeping the debate going with mind-numbing requests for evidence that does not--and could not--exist. Ever.

That's so she doesn't have to deal with the real body of evidence, because it doesn't support her position.

He put up a picture of a wake at 9:03AM? I missed that one. Can you repost so I know which picture you're talking about? I want to disprove myself if it is possible.

See post #14.

It won't satisfy you because you think that you know what a wake ought to look like. For myself, I admit not knowing doodlysquat about aeronautics and defer to one who evidently does. (Hint: that would be Mackey, not you.)

I got Judy's back on the mathematics of a gravity collapse scenario. Nobody has a better point of view on the silliness of such a suggestion. I also have Judy's back when it comes to the sheer amount of dust produced. She focuses on the dust almost as much as I do, and I agree with almost everything she has to say about it. The gigantic number of photographs available on her site makes me want to applaud her in public, and force me to conclude that she has the best compendium of forensic evidence available. Her magnetometer data is astonishing, and I see no reason to doubt her analysis of it. She pointed out the odd behavior of Hurricane Erin, which cannot be denied.

DEWs? I'm not sure. I like the idea in terms of it being the very best theory so far, but DEWs have yet to be nailed down in my book. I want more evidence, and hope more is forthcoming.

Is this good enough?

No, no it isn't.

Let's assume there is no DEW.

What brought down the towers?

Also, how hard is it to have the quote FIRST in your posts?

It makes it so much easier to actually understand what your response means if we can see what you're responding to before you start talking.

The author's preface has a clear statement that no claims that Bush or anyone else perpetrated the annihilation of the WTC complex on 9/11 are made. Thus, the author contradicts the anonymous student who posted on a website that doesn't require verification of student status or that the person so posting took a class taught by Dr. Wood or any other professor.

This is not intended to provide a way for you to say you believe an anonymous student or that you find such an entity more credible than Dr. Wood's written preface.

I can only refer readers to a comment I made earlier:-

Once again, it seems jammonius has difficulty comprehending (or is lying) about plain stark fact. That is, students of Judy Wood at Clemson were given the opportunity to freely comment upon her capabilities as a teacher. The overwhelming consensus of those students was that she wasn't very good in her job. I do believe she was removed from her post soon after those comments. One can see there a probable reason for her dismissal.

Dr. Blevins, can you answer this question?

Wood presents, as evidence, seismological data collected at the time of the WTC collapses. But she also insists that the buildings (the Twin Towers) didn't "collapse" but "turned to dust" and "wafted to the heavens". So one has to wonder, if I assume that to be true, what was it that caused the ground disturbances that were recorded in these data?

The above might be a clever ploy to re-raise the important topic of lack of debris, or the flatness of GZ. Ground Zero was flat. That is, in fact, one of the meanings of the title to the book WHERE DID THE TOWERS GO?

That's the biggest bunch of BS yet.

GZ was flat...

Hi Jammonius. Do you have any opinion concerning Dr. Wood's DEW theory, which (as has been shown in this thread) she not only presents no evidence that such a device exists; she doesn't even offer any indication that it can exist? Dr. Wood's promotion of this theory indicates she seriously misunderstands weather and the planetary magnetic field (among other things, she says there's a connection where none exists), optics and astronomy (a spaced-based DEW capable of bringing down the WTC would be easily visible from the surface of the Earth), and physics (an Earth-based DEW, no matter where it were located, would leave abundant and extremely obvious physical proof of its existence as it zapped the WTC, since it would also vaporize all matter between it and the target).

In short, Dr. Wood's DEW theory is wildly contrary to all known facts and science, and calls into question her very competence in this area. Thus I'm curious as to whether or not those who support and/or defend Dr. Wood still believe that her views concerning the DEW have merit. Do you have any thoughts regarding this?

I will here answer the question part of your statement: Yes.

I will here discuss the statement part of your statement:

As you may know from other responses, I do not question, let alone quarrel with beliefs that posters may have formed or shared in their posts. I will here only add that your conception of what is or is not "evidence" of an assertion or of a claim appears to differ from mine. And that is fair enough. I am not seeking to convince you of anything. For instance, I consider Stairwell B and the photo showing where it was located and how it was situated to be evidence that GZ was flat. Others disagree and believe, instead, that GZ was a huge mountain of debris extending twenty stories, when counting by various and sundry means taking into or leaving out of their calculation that the underground segment of GZ was intact.

In any event, the point here is evidence appears to be in the eye of the beholder.

I would have preferred to break the above portion of your statement into smaller segments. Alas, it was too difficult to do that, while being fair to you, in doing so. That is because that part of your statement is one sentence. I cannot be sure what connections you make and what assumptions you incorporate between and among the segments of your sentence. I note, however, that your concern for "evidence" appears to have vanished as the quoted portion of your statement does not refer to any evidence that I can discern. The sentence appears to me to be a declaration. And, to the extent you are declaring what you believe, well, once again, I do not quarrel with posters' beliefs. You are free to have and to hold your beliefs for as long as you can or desire to do so.

In short, Dr. Wood's DEW theory is wildly contrary to all known facts and science, and calls into question her very competence in this area.

That sentence is rather broad and generalized, even for debunkers, in my opinion. Would you consider posting up 1 fact and 1 scientific claim, perhaps, that would at least give me something to respond to. As it stands, you have not done so.

Thus I'm curious as to whether or not those who support and/or defend Dr. Wood still believe that her views concerning the DEW have merit.

I apply the same standard to my own posts as I apply to others. I do not post up "belief" statements. Rather, I post up facts and claims based on evidence and information.

Do you have any thoughts regarding this?

I have given you my thoughts.

Blessings

The Himalayas are flat too if viewed from the moon. The Earth itself is smoother than a billiard ball. So where did you view the pile from Jammy? My guess is Uranus.

That sound you just heard was the point flying over your head.

Metal rusts. That's what it does.
Judy is trying to make some sort of fantastic argument based on the fact that metal rusts.

It's like finding it suspect that bread turns green after a while.
No **** sherlock.

Your post is a gross oversimplification of the segment in WDTTG? dealing with rustification. Those who have read or are reading the book know this to be true. Those who have not done so might be impressed with your post.

Some posters have of late been given to posting about photo perspective, without being specific or clear as to their claims.

I need not comment further on cryptic posts. If posters want to make claims about what a photo reliably shows or does not show, then I suggest they do so and stop beating about the bush.

Wait, rustification?

Surely you mean "rusting" or maybe just "rust"?

Or to be more precise and scientific, "Oxidisation"

The same can be said about you and your "GZ was flat" baloney.

How about you provide some photos that provide some perspective into your claim that it's "flat".
