9/11 Commission records unsealed

Some upcoming news... I've been talking to NARA about 9/11 Commission records that haven't been put online. I've selected more than 40 items including some folders, so hopefully there will be hundreds of new records sent to me in the next few weeks. These include:

  • Jane Garvey interviews. Will she confirm Mineta's timeline?
  • Several interviews with key FAA people. Will they say they were talking to NORAD or the DoD as early as people like David Ray Griffin claim?
  • Interviews with people who were in the PEOC on 9/11. What will they say about Mineta and Cheney?
  • Some important logs and timelines that haven't appeared online yet
  • 9/11 Commission documents on two people who are key in truther theories
  • "FBIs Working Documents" on the Hazmi and Mihdhar search
  • 2 folders on "9/11 detainees"
  • 46 pages of something called "Chronology: US identifications"
  • A folder titled "9/11 hijacker information"
  • Just about everything there is on the 9/11 phone calls
  • Information that may shed new light on claims of controlled demolition at the WTC
  • And a bunch of other things that I think I'll leave as a surprise

I'll summarise highlights on here immediately, and update the relevant 911myths pages with the new data. I'll also take account of all the new data, though, whatever it says, and will put everything I receive online so it's freely available to the rest of the world. (You might have to be patient, though, as there are more than 1,000 pages & the process of converting printed page to PDF is a tedious one. It could be two or three months before I find the time to upload them all.)

I am trying to go through all the existing ones now, but it is very tedious, with as you can imagine, most of it being irrelevant, especially to truther theories.

Interesting tidbits for future reference with respect to the Phone Calls (sorry if this has been addressed):

** Only 8 Outgoing (from aircraft) calls could be made at one time (I assume this means only 8 calls could be occurring/transpiring at one time, and might explain all of the unconnected or 0 second calls in the trial data).

UA Flight 175:
1. All calls from UA175 were via Airfones using Credit Cards (passengers) or via code *340 (fix) for Flight attendants.

2. Flight 175, all call information matches between Moussaoui Trial Flash Presentation and the FBI/DOJ documents

UA Flight 93:
1. Mark Bingham Calls: The Moussaoui Trial Flash has the destination title reversed in comparison to the FBI/DOJ document, with respect to calls made at 9:41:20 and 9:41:53

2. Sandy Bradshaw, Call#2, Flash presentation gives destination as Residence, FBI/DOJ briefing document gives no destination.

3. Rest of Cell Phone and Airfone data matches between Moussaoui Trial Flash and DOJ/FBI documents

AA Flight 77:
1. CVR from Flight 77 survived, but its contents did not.

Sort-of survived - the Moussaoui pic was this:

Interesting. I see this guy also says he only heard of bin Laden after he (Anderson) retired, in 1995.

The more I read on Al-Qaeda and what not, the more I see UBl/OBl as a "George Bush" like character...you know, a puppet, or a figure head, but not let's say, the "brains" or the "machinery" behind the entire organization...more the visionary. I think Zawahiri is more the "Dick Cheney" type.

Well you have to remember that al Qaeda was formed by the merger of bin Laden's and al Zawahiri's groups to begin with. It is not like a formal corporate structure, but rather a bunch of extremists with intersecting interests. See, you learn these things reading the Looming Tower. Now someone just needs to get Jason Bermas a copy.

Great book, but it would be a waste of logic, investigative dividends, and REALITY, on such a twirp.

Deena Burnett talks of Tom Burnett's calls from 93. I mentioned this earlier, but a note I missed: she said the first one (which she says was a cellphone call because she recognised the caller ID) didn't show up on his cellphone bill.

My huge box of 9/11-related documents is here from NARA! :D

First impressions, on flicking through things... There's more public domain articles than I'd like (magazine photocopies, web printouts). Also, most of the interviews are in handwritten notes that are going to be a nightmare to decipher.

Despite this, there are still some worthwhile documents. Anyone interested in William Rodriguez testimony to the Commission, for instance? There's everything you ever wanted to know about the phone calls (including the raw data on the base stations involved, the cards swiped etc). Another Mineta interview. Some manifests and boarding information. More from Belger and Jane Garvey that might help pin down Mineta's timetable. Ack. I'm going to be wading through this for ages!

Absolutely! Give it to us, Mike! :D
Later! :D

I'm being slightly lazy, wanted to publish some easy things first. So, laydeez and gennelmen, take a look at: the Flight 93 manifest, as recovered from a 9/11 Commission file.

This is the same as the list I uncovered before, passengers plus the hijackers, with the exception that this one adds Bingham separately (because he was late?) and classifies it as an "ACI - Checked In List". Is that a standard term? (If anyone can add more details here, feel free.)

The second page shows two of the hijackers check-in and boarding times for 9/11. Can anyone explain how these boarding times are derived? Or is there anything else that these codes tell us?

Could the ACI stand for Airports Council International?

ACI has 597 members operating over 1679 airports in 177 countries and territories. In 2007, ACI members handled 4.8 billion passengers, 88.6 million metric tonnes of freight, and 76.4 million aircraft movements.

Just a suggestion, I have no idea :)

ABRD = Boarding time?
ACHKN = Check-In time?
CAPT1? I have no clue :p

If so, Alshehhi/Marwan shows a 06:45 check-in time and 07:27 boarding time :)

This is fun, when you have no idea if you are correct or not, someone please confirm of correct me quickly :D

These documents came from a UAL file which also includes the manifest for flight 175. Again, this matches the list I had before, includes the hijackers, and also includes a second page with the passengers that were missing previously:

Okay, that's the first folder done. It consists of the files I've just posted, but if you want them all in one place then download this PDF file.

Rodriguez next. I don't think there's anything too exciting here, but it's a while since I paid him any attention at all so people more familiar with his story (like Gravy) might pick up something.
