Some tsunami footage

You and your family are in my thoughts.
It has been revised up to 8.8 again.
Yeah. I think it's safe to say that devastation is widespread there....Thanks. I'm also worried about the people in Sendai and Northern Japan.
It's still shaking as I type this. It's kind of freaking me out
Trains are all stopped. My commute is an hour and a half by train at normal times.
I did plan ahead though and I have a map just in case I need to walk home.
ETA: I'm at my office now.

I hope your building isn't an old high-rise and that you're safe there.
Can anyone give you a ride home? (Hoping the roads are safe.)
My heart goes out to you.
Look after yourself - get home safe.
8.9 is what the US earthquake people are saying.I'm watching Sky news at the moment: they are saying 8.9.
Some amazing and alarming footage.
Our thoughts and hopes are with our friends in Japan and elsewhere.
I'm looking at the map and it looks like 35 or 40 kilometers to my house. It's six in the evening.
I hope the trains start back up.
That's true. I'm more affected by the footage of very big buildings and boats being swept away. They're reporting five confirmed dead currently. I fear what the final number will be.The footage of cars being washed away is particularly heart-breaking as I hear these were people trying to drive away, which means they're occupied. I'd prefer not to even think about that.
