Other, similar reactions among Republicans include suddenly stating that they're now against the 19th Amendment - women being allowed to vote, in short.

Seriously, if all it takes to make one "change their mind" about that is a reminder that who one votes for is private, there's not much in the way of any "good" way to take that.

In that case you should be voting for Harris as her tax policy will increase the national debt about half as much as Trump's policy of tariffs and cutting taxes for billionaires.

I wouldn't be surprised if Melania voted for Harris.

She didn't want to be the First Lady in 2016 and I doubt she's changed her mind on that.
She has publicly stated she is pro-choice.
She has done almost no campaigning for him.
She's often appeared very cold to him in public and they have separate bedrooms.

I think Kamala wins PA by a hair and wins the EC by 276. Trump will yell & scream but Kamala opens the electoral votes for Congress and PA has a Loyal Democrat Governor, so gonna be very hard for Trump to try another steal.

Or Kamala wins GA by a hair and Raffensberger already showed he will not abandon democracy.

Conservatives Remembering to Pretend to Care About the National Debt is always my favorite part of an election year, but it takes a special kind of gullible to believe that the guy who added $8 trillion to the national debt is going to reduce it if he gets into office again. He of course promised to reduce the debt the first time he was running for office. But this time it's for real. Pinky swear.

I bet you're really fired up for Trump's healthcare plan, too. I heard he's going to unveil it in two weeks. And Trump's Infrastructure Week must really have you excited.
 
Interesting news from Silver. He has been saying in the past that the polls seem to be herding, but he looks favourably on two pollsters in particular, NYT/Siena polls and Ann Selzer.

Anyway, Ann Selzer has a new Iowa poll out which shows a surprisingly large shift towards Harris, even making her the favourite. Of course, Silver warns that the margin of error is large and the Dems lost Iowa by 9 points last time round, but it could be a good sign for other close races.

I don't put a lot of stock in Silver, but if this is true, and if it holds up on election night, I'd say there's a good chance that Kamala might win several other "red" states as well. But it's a big if and I wouldn't bet money on it. Let's count chickens after they're hatched.
 
It's not just Silver. I'd never heard of this Selzer before tonight, but apparently her poll is a big damned deal. Everyone's realigning in response. It's fascinating to watch it happen in real time.
