Cont: 2024 Election Thread part 3

Tucker Carlson

" Tim Walz is obviously gay... Maybe he's not gay but he certainly seems gay... I don't have any evidence but he looks super gay to me."

We'll it's a fair point when you consider Walz's obsession with fake tan pancake, eyeliner & shaking it to "YMCA".. Oh, wait...

This is very relevant because Trump is totally still running against Biden.

Ha ha! I do respect the hilarious damage-control of the White House. How dare anyone not mention the silent but obviously intended apostrophe!

Stacy, you surely don't really believe that, do you?

I mean, let's face it, Trumpers are garbage. Biden's words were an actual gaffe, accidentally telling the truth.
The context makes it clear that he is referencing the racist comedian.

Of course, the Orange Weakling distanced himself and threw the douchebag under the bus.

It's a little bizarre that the maga camp is so attached to the low-IQ insult. Mel Gibson also recently called Harris 'low IQ, dumb as a lamp post' or something like that.

Because they are so dumb, they can't think of any new insults and must rely on the same two or three "jokes." Isn't it ironic?

Unfortunately, the Garage Truck Stunt was a good one
Was it? I read that at least some Puerto Ricans are interpreting it as doubling down on calling them garbage, and mocking the notion that they are upset by that.

That Trump's private jet is apparently visible in the truck's side mirror has been pointed out, as well as "a billionaire getting chaffeured around in a garbage truck going nowhere is peak Republican party."

I think such stunts usually backfire and are best avoided. But then I also think people running for (or being) president should have at least a modicum of dignity...

I've been seeing the same thing. I'm not really sure what made the stunt a "good one". It seemed kind of dumb with the blow back from the Puerto Rico comments and the fact he refuses to apologize for it. I guess I'm not sure who the stunt would appeal to, independent voters? People who work sanitation? The only people I can imagine it appealing to are people who are already going to vote for him.

It doesn't matter anyway, he's already said something even dumber: that he'll "protect" women, "whether the women like it or not."

I really hope this jackass strokes out soon so I can go one single day without hearing his name on the news.

I just talked with a friend, and my sister, separately, and they are both "undecided". HOW can you not know who you're going to go with at this point??? However, further discussion reveals that neither one followed the news (good or bad) very closely, and just spouted talking headline points. I usually avoid any political discussion altogether with people I know because it's very difficult for me to be diplomatic. Not because they might disagree, but if they're arguing points that are plain wrong I just go nuts.
I don't understand undecideds. If I just could not make up my mind for some reason, I'd probably vote for the person that isn't a rapist.

Trump a couple of days ago
“Our economy is not, this is just, it's like a fake economy."

The Wall Street Journal today
“With another solid performance in the third quarter, the U.S. has grown 2.7% over the past year. It is outrunning every other major developed economy, not to mention its own historical growth rate.”

Sadly, a large percentage of people actually believe the USA is in recession. It's a lie that Trump and conservatives news media keeps telling.
