"I want to protect the women of our country.
I'm gonna do it whether the women like it or not"
Wow. I didn't think about anyone still being on the fence! Amazing, after such a long time and so much has happened, it is just difficult for me to imagine being undecided. My entire family and friends share my opinions. I am grateful. I'm so sorry for your situation.I just talked with a friend, and my sister, separately, and they are both "undecided". HOW can you not know who you're going to go with at this point??? However, further discussion reveals that neither one followed the news (good or bad) very closely, and just spouted talking headline points. I usually avoid any political discussion altogether with people I know because it's very difficult for me to be diplomatic. Not because they might disagree, but if they're arguing points that are plain wrong I just go nuts.
◊◊◊◊ their feelings.Do you think that Trump's campaign and the MAGAs will worry about that?
Yes, I posted it this morning.
He should start with a war on orange-osity.Trump is promising, among his health intiatives, a war on obesity in the US.
Physician, Heal Thyself if ever there was a case ot it....
The reactions to this statement are truly scary. Pure hatred of anybody who dares to question Dear Leader.
Ha ha! I do respect the hilarious damage-control of the White House. How dare anyone not mention the silent but obviously intended apostrophe! That's because, per usual, they're lying about what Biden said. Full quote:
"The White House later released a transcript which included an apostrophe, and said the president was talking about the words of Hinchcliffe, and not all Trump supporters.
"The only garbage I see floating out there is (Trump's) supporter’s… his demonisation of Latinos is unconscionable, and it's un-American," the transcript reads.
Biden himself later addressed his video call with non-profit organisation Voto Latino, writing on X: "Earlier today I referred to the hateful rhetoric about Puerto Rico spewed by Trump's supporter at his Madison Square Garden rally as garbage - which is the only word I can think of to describe it.
'His demonisation of Latinos is unconscionable. That's all I meant to say. The comments at that rally don't reflect who we are as a nation.' "
It's a little bizarre that the maga camp is so attached to the low-IQ insult. Mel Gibson also recently called Harris 'low IQ, dumb as a lamp post' or something like that.Trump at his North Carolina rally..
I have no difficulty believing that Biden was referring specifically to the 'comedian' at Trump's rally when he made his 'garbage' comment, though it's also plausible it was a more general (and equally correct) comment.Ha ha! I do respect the hilarious damage-control of the White House. How dare anyone not mention the silent but obviously intended apostrophe!
Stacy, you surely don't really believe that, do you?
I mean, let's face it, Trumpers are garbage. Biden's words were an actual gaffe, accidentally telling the truth.
Is there audio of that moment? Because he has to be singing Mammy to the camera!
The MAGA supporters really are garbage, and also snowflakes.I have no difficulty believing that Biden was referring specifically to the 'comedian' at Trump's rally when he made his 'garbage' comment, though it's also plausible it was a more general (and equally correct) comment.
Buut the hypocrisy of the outrage is ridiculous, when so many worse insults have been slung at Harris and her supporters by Trump and his sycophants every day for months.
"Just because I'm sitting in this garbage truck and wearing a garbage man's uniform for a photo op doesn't mean I know anything about the comments at my rally calling people garbage."
He arrived in a garbage truck
Reporter: Due you owe Puerto Rico an apology?
TRUMP: I love Puerto Rico. And Puerto Rico loves me. I don't know anything about a comedian. Nobody has done more for Puerto Rico than me. Nobody gets along better with Puerto Rico. They love me and I love them.
