Cont: 2024 Election Thread part 2

Does this surprise any of us?

How many times have we read posters claiming to be undecided or even saying they are voting democrat and yet post almost non-stop Trump/Republican talking points?

Frankly, I think the entire "undecided" section are a creation of media networks like CNN just to keep the "excitement" palpable enough to generate viewership. Another tactic is to promote a more conservative candidate to function as some sort of wrench in the works...remember CNN trying to push Bloomberg as a viable candidate in the previous election?

Trump at his Arizona rally

Barack Hussein Obama, he was nasty to me. He was nasty. Michelle was nasty. They're all nasty. Nasty people. I was surprised, I thought he was, I was sort of nice to him, I said no, you know, I like him, ok, it didn't matter. They were nasty to me

He's like a child

This is bizarre. Less than a week ago trump was praising Obama as a 'nice gentleman', saying how he respected both Obama and his wife.

There's a great ad opportunity here, "Which Donald Trump do you believe?", then just run clips of him contradicting himself over and over and over again.

Trump before the Biden debate: "Waaahhh! They're going to turn off the mics!"

Trump before the Harris debate: "Waaahhh! I want them to leave on the mics!"

That might backfire when people agree with one President Trump or the other and decide to vote for him. :o

Highly doubtful. As has been repeated here in this, and other threads, people that are voting for Trump will already vote for Trump. Doubtful that showing him repeatedly contradicting himself will push undecided voters his way.

Keep trying, sport, you'll get one some day.

Get that she'll just keep flipflopping and taking Trump's ideas because she doesn't know what she's doing? Or has she actually sat for an interview and explained her views? Why is she so scared to do that?

I just love Trump supporters. No matter how crazy, stupid and dishonest Trump is, he still their guy. But I guess that's because he is consistently racist, xenophobic and sexist.

Bat crap crazy and stupid is fine as long as you are as hate filled as they are.

I'm not inviting him over for dinner. I'll likely never meet him or any other president. But I know if he's in office my taxes won't go up. I know if he's in office the regulatory state will be reduced. "Joy" is not a policy.

Real talk? I think if we held the election today and held it in November the actual differences in the result would be minimal at best.

Michael Moore ran a joke candidate for President once. "Louie Bruno, he stands for what you believe in!". The gag was he would just automatically agree with whatever the last person said, even if it directly contradicted the previous person, who might be five feet away and still listening.

Well I'd rather we still have a functioning democracy, for women to own their own bodies, to not live in a Christian Theocracy, to not burn the planet to cinder, and for minorities to be protected rather than persecuted.

And Trump isn't going to lower YOUR taxes. He's going to lower the taxes of people who make a lot more than anyone on this board.

Talking at you, not to you. I do not expect a coherent response.
