  • 96% of Democratic voters in the state are certain of their choice, compared to 'only' 92% of Dump supporters.
  • The 4.9 margin between the two parties is a plummet from the 9% in the 2020 election campaign.
  • Gen Z overwhelmingly support Harris, 59% over 38%. As late as in June, 42% supported Dump, with only 39% wanting to vote for Harris. The kids are allright.

Oh, and Cancun Cruz is in trouble, of course, as he should be.

Long shot to be sure but Texas's urban population has been skyrocketing for years now. Austin is as liberal as any place in the US.

Yep, it's gonna be the ultimate October Surprise; JD will come out of the closet and confess that he is a woman, giving his endorsement of Harris-Walz. In response, Trump will name RFK as his running mate. :boxedin:

I mentioned in another thread that someone posted a giant billboard here in Guate that is 1) in English and 2) says "Fight Fight Fight!!! We stand with Donald Trump". Again, in Guatemala. Who are they aiming at?

Presumably they want back all the 'rapists, murderers and drug dealers' that Trump says he will ship back to Guatemala, so that they can try them for their 'crimes'?

Obviously, his definition of "sort of nice" is different to mine. Because I don't think spreading conspiracy theories about his birth certificate is not nice

Turn left at the top of my street and right there is a house with a Trump yard sign, and a few houses down is one with a Trump flag. Even worse is the northern part of my county in which my friend (solid liberal/atheist) who lives there is very disturbed by the occasional presence of trucks in small convoys with MAGA symbols and flags prominent.

I live in California. No danger to the electoral college results, but MAGA is here.

He'd better get himself shot again if he wants to get back into the headlines.

He did try by pretending to care enough to help someone in the audience who needed medical attention. But I think it's not too much of a stretch to claim it was staged - as lame and as common as those claims are getting to be.
 
trump has also been ignoring the advice of his fellow Republicans to stop with the 'Steal' rants and personal insults directed towards Kamala Harris and start discussing issues and policies. But I don't think trump can do that. He doesn't have policies, for one thing. He only has 'talking points.' trump has threatened to close the border with Mexico. That's a talking point not a policy. Imagine a press conference where a reporter asks:

News reporter: "Sir you've threatened to close the US-Mexican border. Last year US-Mexican trade amounted to almost $800 billion. How would closing the border effect that?"

trump has no answer for that. He can't get too specific, as the Republicans are urging. He has no specifics. All he has is rhetoric.

And it is the same old same old crap we've been hearing for 8 years. Trump use to make news every other day that allowed him to own news cycle after news cycle. He didn't have to make media buys because he was always making news.

Little of this is news any more. And the little news it does make doesn't reflect positively on him.
