Just outside of Guatemala City on one of the main roads is now a giant billboard that, in English, reads "Fight! Fight! Fight! We Stand With President Trump" and featuring a picture of Dump doing his "serious face" and with his hand over his heart. I almost passed out when I saw it.

Ladbrokes have moved the book from 4 to 5 Harris
1 to 1 Trump
To 5 to 6 Harris 10 to 11 Trump.

Currently, Ladbrokes is giving Harris and Trump the same odds: 10:11.

The Real Clear Politics betting market average has them essentially tied as well with odds of 49.6:49.3 in favor of Harris.

Trump claims you can't walk across the street to get a loaf of bread without getting raped and shot...

"You've seen it, I've seen it," said trump (at his Michigan press conference). Also-
"Kamala Harris will deliver crime, chaos, destruction and death," Trump said in one of many generalizations about an America under Harris. "You'll see levels of crime that you've never seen before." CBS News news link

trump appearing in Michigan parking garage. :boggled:

I know it's been asked before, but WHY?

Did he think about the optics?

Did he think about the optics?

I think the answer is obvious: he is scared ******** (and supposedly sleepless) about another shooter - and at the same time he's too cheap to rent an actual venue with proper security features.

His campaign is similar to Spinal Tap's tour in the movie. He keeps playing smaller and smaller venues. He'll soon be giving speeches from a janitorial closet at a Motel 6.

I'd like to see him doing speeches from a 6 x 8.

Trump is still riding the crest (we could argue the finally breaking crest but crest still) and the single longest "**** around without ever finding out" wave in history.

I'm not sure WHY he'd be reaching the point of introspection yet. "This will never work, you don't have a chance" is what he's heard his entire political career and it's worked (for various definitions of the word work) for him so far.

That makes sense. And he is an idiot

The secret service is not so big on outdoor venues anymore and indoor ones know to get the money up front if they host him as he refuses to pay many of the bills. So it likely was cheap or free.

It's been a while since I've been in Howell, but I do not recall a venue there that would fit a large crowd or would work for a rally. In fact, there really isn't a reason to go there from a political point of view unless you want to dog whistle with Howell's linkage to the KKK.

It's hard to put yourself in Trump's mindset so this isn't an interpretation I'm married to, fair?, but "I survived an assassination attempt" is exactly the kind of thing that would make someone with Trump's unique kind of massive ego and centered world view feel more invincible.

Reading up on that, it seems like a dog whistle for a deaf 15 year old Pitbull
