It's the West Wing Brain at work, the idea that Trump will somehow be grateful if you cave in to him.

We know that the opposite is true, that the more the NYT and others **** on him, the more desperate he became for positive coverage.

Felons and prisoners (conceptually, few make enough to make the 12,000 dollar threshold) also pay taxes and I sorta vaguely kinda remember "No Taxation without Representation" being one of those things a certain country made a big deal out of one time.

But again the deep legal weeds are not the point, the point is Republicans are without question using it as a form of disenfranchisation.

Look here, I'm no racist, but if God had wanted the darker sorts to live here with us in this fair land, he'd have put them over here to begin with, like us, instead of in their ******** countries where they have to cross a river and sometimes even an ocean to get here!

Is this a legit tweet, and/or is 'Trump War Room' one of the Trump Campaign accounts? This seems a little to blatantly racist, even for them.
 
I don't know. I could of swore we had Trump supporters on this board. Maybe one of them is brave enough to slither out of the shadows and step into the light and defend this.

Let see if they have spines enough to do anything but stick their head out, make a random trolling remark, then slink away.

So Trump doesn't need to out run the bear, he just needs to out run RFK.


Would it be better if he brought RFK on stage to debate Pamala Harris in September?

Or does he need to invite RFK and the Libertarian Party candidate, Chase Oliver, for a separate debate on Fox News?

In either case he need to pick up a few percent from these two.

Looks like even if all BJ and the Bear's people jumped on the the ill fated Trump Train, it'd still be a point and a quarter shy of a tie...
 
The Democrat winning the popular vote was never really in deep doubt.

Winning the electoral college and then having that win recognized by Trump and his cult is the issue.

I am not sure if that was a serious suggestion (that Trump should somehow engage RFK or the Libertarians). Assuming it was somewhat serious...

To me that would be a big mistake. From what I have seen, those two 3rd party candidates tend to draw away more votes from Trump than from Harris. It would be a mistake for Trump to give either of them more publicity, lest some of the MAGAchud look at RFK and think "Wow, I can get all the conspiricy theory nonsense, plus a dead bear out of the deal? Count me in".

And recognized by Republican county and state election officials.
 
Third party candidates have a long history of polling well early in the election cycle and seeing that support diminish substantially by the election. And that has happened to RFK Jr. Two months ago, polls had him as high as 12 percent. Now he's registering under 3 percent. Rumor has it that he offered his support to Harris in exchange for his endorsement.

My bet is that as the election draws closer he will be further marginalized.

His endorsement would be key if Harris was interested in locking down the "affected by brainworms" demographic.

Also, the states (legislatures in most states) control districting for both the federal House of Representatives and state legislature. Gerrymandering has been a big factor in keeping Republicans in power at both state and federal level.
