I don't know if too many from those demographics would vote for them anyway. They had a chance to back away from Drumpf and fascism when Biden won the election, and they had an even better chance on January 6th. Instead they chose to dig their heels in for fascism. Now they're locked to that path and probably can't reform even though they desperately need to. Hence the need to show that you too can say and even do horrible things to pwn the libs and signal that you're fascist enough to deserve to be in the GOP. 'Vice signalling' in other words.

It'll come back to bite them, hard, and in the end, they'll have to change course or dissolve as a party, if they aren't relegated to the role of yet another third party no one cares to vote for.

It's one thing to attack Kamala Harris. You can do that till the cows come home. But that kind of virtue signaling to the trolls is far more likely to bite you in the ass. There's also a bit of a semi-truth in politics. People are more likely to turn out to vote against something than they are to turn out for something. Republicans live by that motto.
 
I see the latest from the fearless former leader is that he pledges to cut funding entirely from any school that has a vaccine mandate. Note that's any and all vaccines, anywhere. Free-dumb!

Editors’ Note: Trump was speaking specifically about COVID-19 vaccines and has not made his position about other vaccines for school kids clear.

Exactly, and ultimately THIS is exactly why Trump is not to be trusted. He dangles ideas about ending requirements for vaccination and tells Christians not to worry, they'll never have to vote again, has history as someone who tried to overturn an election when he lost. Why would anyone risk it with him?

Similarly, we can see that no competent person wants to keep working with him beyond a year or two, then they leave, warning that the guy is chaotic and unprincipled, half of the people around him end up in jail or would do it it weren't for his pardons, etc...

To be fair he is most likely the most faked person on the internet. Under each of his post there is several fake videos of him selling bitcoin, kitchen mop, or both.

But we are at the point where any video not from official source is most likely fake. Even mainstream media are not safe.
