Well I'm so glad that the President has made a one-stop shop for voter suppression. I'm sure Googling it was such a hassle.

Numbers of Trumph poll watchers will gather unannounced, packing guns and pipe bombs, at polls in various places. They won't be persuaded by anybody that they can't walk in and prowl the voting booths, glowering and spitting on the floor. Chaos. Gunfire. Casualties. Marshal law.

If it's like WA, they are counted but the result kept secret until 8 PM on election night.

Also, IIRC, the results in other time zones are kept secret until the polls close on the Pacific coast.
 
Biden has 199 Electoral College votes if you only count states where he's leading by 10% or more. He's at 279 (past the tipping point) if you only count states where he's leading by 5% or more. And that's before getting into all the swing stages where he's leading by smaller margins.

True and I've been pointing at 2016 with a big "DO NOT FORGET THIS HAPPENED" flashing arrow all campaign and will not be stopping now.

But unlike 2016 these eggs are all outside the margin of error, to abandon the metaphor a bit.

Even when it happens to people around them, they still don't treat it as a real threat.

The polling data is a bit funny. Most of the polls coming in today were conducted entirely after the debates and after Trump was diagnosed, with some covering Friday after he went to the hospital. Biden pulled ahead, out of the margin of error in Florida (something Clinton never did) and in Arizona. Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania stayed pretty static which might mean there are no more undecided voters to win there. Biden gained a bit in North Carolina but not out of the margin of error of most of the polls.

Ohio is still a horse race. This is a mystery to me because the same economic factors impacting Michigan and Pennsylvania also impact Ohio and the demographics are similar. Biden's gains from the debate there are just a blip though.

There's no polling from Texas in this period yet and the quality of the polls is poor there. I'd like to see what the last few days have done in Texas. I think Texas is a going to go to Trump but Biden will out perform the polling data.
