Trump used up all his advantage in 2016. Back then we were worried about our candidate's integrity. We won't make that mistake again.The question is not whether the laptop contains legitimate incriminating evidence, it is whether it contains something Trump can use to his advantage.
DNI Ratcliffe just announced that Iran is trying to undermine confidence in our election by spreading the false claim that fraudulent ballots can be cast from foreign countries.
Does he realize that the president has been saying the exact same thing?
If it's a disinformation campaign when Iran does it, what is it when the president does it?

I like seeing stories like that, because it makes me think, "Is that all you've got?"
Which is what I'm thinking about the Hunter laptop story right now. I'll admit, I'm nervous that there might be something there, but every time I see the talking heads bring it up, I relax a little more. I saw one video today, of a guy I didn't know but apparently he works with Giulliani. He said he had gone over the laptop, and was saying it was amazing these guys (Joe and Hunter) hadn't been put into handcuffs. When asked about the contents, I'm not sure my description can do it justice, but it was basically along the lines of..."Oh, man. There is so much stuff there. It's unbeliavable. 24,000 emails. 600 images. Uhmmm.....there's so much stuff, I mean, it's really amazing. Like, there's one where they talk about holding 10% and, how can those guys get away with it?"
The host asked, hesitating, pausing meaningfully, if there were any "illegal" images, and the dude said, "Ya know.....I....I can't talk about that right now."
I'm figuring if there was anything on that laptop worth knowing about, he would have gladly talked about it. It makes me think there's nothing there.
No, it isn't!The question is not whether the laptop contains legitimate incriminating evidence, it is whether it contains something Trump can use to his advantage.
This ^What laptop?
Have we seen a laptop that belongs to Hunter Biden yet?
I don't think it matters all that much if something is there or not. It may well be faker than a Melania orgasm, but as long as it is out there and swirling around various news sites and social media, it is doing what it is supposed to do. I'm starting to get a sick feeling that this might just be enough to tip the scales like the Comey letter and Weiner's laptop did last time.
I just saw that Limbaugh's lung cancer is fatal. Let's hope he passes before November 3rd. I guess Florida is going to get a little bit bluer. Nice of him to die in a swing state, the stupid junkie ****.
There's a lot of rich conservatives in CA and Trump is hurting for $$$$$$$$$$.Is it aweirdsane bid to get donations from wealthy California Republicans?
I hate to say it, but the world will be better off without him. Hopefully no one will take his place.
Trump Tweets
Happening all over USA. No wonder California is never in play for Republicans. Rigged Election!

The rules they've set up this time to make the debate more bearable to watch also have the side effect of helping Trump. His tendency to interrupt & attack was what was bad for him last time, and this time he'll get muted, meaning people won't be as exposed to his true behavior.
But it's probably too little too late.
Here's the problem:.....
Has he saved coal mining jobs? Has he helped manufacturing jobs? Has he helped Joe public improve their lot?
No, no and no. His simple solutions were a con and enough of the people he conned last time around have seen enough to vote him out.
And after people speculated whether he'd show up for this "debate" or not, he's now demonstrated another option he's willing to go with, in his interview for 60 Minutes: show up at the start but then get all pouty & leave before it's over.When he gets muted and then comes back on, he'll spend his next time allotment railing about what happened when he was muted. It could even be worse than his "real time" whining.
Me too! At just about this time of year in 1963. What I remember most is:
1. They wouldn't have had the Catholic HS there with the two public ones for any previous President;
2. JFK looked VERY tired;
3. He had to look at his notes to see where he was before saying how happy he was to be in Billings;
4. Had I not been too chicken to stick out my hand he'd have shaken it.
Oh, and just wait until those R congresscritters find out about Trump using a government plane!
I, too, am quite concerned about Trump's attempts to thwart his election loss post-Nov. 3. But I hold out this hope: If Biden wins the popular vote by, say, ~7-8 million votes, the GOP will have to think really hard about helping Trump stay in office. Knowing that Trump is GREATLY disliked by almost all GOP congresscritters, and that forcing in a loser into the job would likely have a serious, if not catastrophic, backlash, I doubt that the party would go to the wall for him. That's my firewall right now.
