2012 Debates

So who scheduled the last presidential debate on a Monday night? I mean, it's not like Monday Night Football hasn't been scheduled on..... oh I don't know... MONDAY NIGHT for 40 freak'n years.

Seems like they are going to lose some viewers when it could have just been scheduled for a different night.

Anyway, this should be interesting tonight. I wonder what Obama is going to show? I have a feeling he learned his lesson about being too passive.
 
Meh I'm even less excited for this debate than previous ones. How many times will we hear 'tough on china' from either candidate?
 
This debate may very well decide my vote, since it deals with one of my 3 most important issues: foreign policy (the other two being Healthcare, and congressional gridlock),
 
Romney is all over the place. He's obviously nervous, and is trying to cover too many topics in one answer. He also seems intent on reviving the red scare with his Russia talk.
 
At 15 mins Obama seems to be doing better. There's a lot of fact checking to be done too given all the facts each are claiming and disputing.

Well Syria (and Iraq) is a route to the Mediterranean.... I guess they don't want to use the Persian Gulf anymore.
 
Obama included in one of his previous answers, the US's role in the world.

Then Romney talked about the US's role in the world.

Then the moderator asks: "So... what do you each say is America's role in the world?"

Schools and teacher's unions in a foreign policy debate?

And I think that teacher's unions smack down by Romney is going to play well with his base but I don't know how that will go over with independents.
