It's interesting that you should mention snake oil as the biggest snake oil scam ever is the vaccination industry by which pharma and the medical society both make huge profits.
The industry credits itself with saving millions via vaccination but denies any responsibility for any adverse...

"European criticism of the World Health Organization's handling of the H1N1 pandemic intensified Friday with the release of two reports that accused the agency of exaggerating the threat posed by the virus and...
This has nothing to do with vaccination refusal nor anything like that, I wanted desperately to get the vaccine for my family. But what makes me wonder now is that, AFAIK, H1N1 is less dangerous than the regular flu, and so there is no real reason to run to get the vaccine anymore.
Of course I...
Finally I can get the vaccine for my daughter, she is 6 years old. The vaccines are Pandemrix and/or Celvapan. I'm not sure we will be able to choose, but in case we can.. is there proof about one being better/having less side effects, etc than the other?
Can one strain of flu "crowd out" others?
I had thought that the presence of one strain would have no effect on the prevalence of others, but apparently this might not be true.
Swine Flu Means Killer Winter Influenza May Not Come
I've read a few recent news reports that suggested that the H1N1 pandemic has 'peaked' in much of the world (including North America). Here where I live, the government has already started to disband emergency flu clinics.
I thought this was surprising... flu season doesn't even really start...
So, as the title suggests, I would appreciate thoughtful responses to this poster. It is usually linked by antivax people to show that the H1N1 does not demand vaccinations.

I wonder if simply drinking and eating them offers any protection?
On a side note, I have been unable to find the swine flu vaccine... but I can get the seasonal one.. will it offer some kind of protection? From scattered reports...
I went home for lunch hoping to have a nice bowl of soup and a ham sandwich whilst reading some emails.

Instead I get a plate of quackery with a side of crapulence.
Now I am no doctor, but anyone who advocates vitamin D3 as a viable alternative to a vaccine must have their head...
I've recently seen an article appearing in the CBC news (One of Canada's national TV/Radio outlets.) In the article, they quote a Dr. Jim Wright...

Now, their whole argument seems based on an irrational fear of squalene, which is disscussed in depth in this thread.

Most who die from new H1N1 flu had conditions: CDC
Near half of [hospitalized] swine flu patients otherwise healthy
These are both reports in Yahoo on the same day about the same medical report from CDC.
In the first article it says:
Technically "most" had an underlying medical condition. But...
I just received flu vaccinations. The annual vaccination was injected and the H1N1 vaccination was a nasal spray. Concerning the nasal spray and injectable vaccines for flu, is one of the methods superior to the other? What is the difference, if any? Why are the two types manufactured? Are...
I didn't see a thread on this elsewhere in the forum. If there is one, feel free to just link me there.
I posted some comments on a YouTube video made by the infamous GEERUP, who claims that the H1N1 vaccine is a tool of the NWO that will destroy the population of Earth. As proof, he claims...
And anyone else who wants to chime in.
Last week my neighbor's 14 year old was diagnosed with 2009H1N1. The boy's physician told them Tamiflu was being reserved for high risk patients only and the doc did not prescribe the drug for the boy.
I don't see it that way and I wrote him a script...
For some reason they stopped tested folks for H1N1 in our area (my mother-in-law is a nurse in the area and she said because of cost considerations)--but they continued testing anyone under one. My daughter, 10 months old, was really sick and we had to take her to the hospital. They did the...
We had a discussion the other day, at work, about the current flu pandemic.
Here we have posters warning people to wash hands, cough in their sleeve, the stuff. Many of us travel regularly and meet all sort of precautions at airports (expecially the Chinese go through a lot og antics).
But once...
