Today I learned that the alias of this individual is "Dr. Buzzo."
I witnessed him drunkenly accosting my girlfriend at the last TAM in Las Vegas. I considered physically interceding, but chose not to. My girlfriend and I attended the most recent NECSS in New York. Dr. Buzzo made a beeline for my girlfriend, and utterly ignored me. It was glaringly obvious to me his intentions were carnal in nature.
He chose to insert himself into our dinner plans. It became a matter of endurance to put up with this man. Indeed, to echo virtually all other voices here, he's profoundly creepy and socially maladroit. It's no surprise that he has a long history of behaving as a conference creep. Avoid contact with this man if at all possible, especially if female. I contacted him privately and asked him to cease and desist contact with me and my girlfriend if he chose to attend CSIcon in Las Vegas. Thankfully he did not attend.
