Contains a couple of clips that made the rounds and are certainly authentic, including the one I mentioned of the group of counter-protesters being stopped and brutalized while traveling in their buses. (Alleged) Participants are interviewed. Some interesting footage of the "clashes" between Crimea Tatars and pro-Russian protesters. Bit of allahuakbarking going on there and I heard that it stayed a single event after the Tatar leader sitting somewhere in Russia told the community to stay calm and don't let the extremists (of their Salafist organisation whose name I can't recall) fuel the fire.

Nato beefs up air drills in and around the Black Sea.

In Poland - a staunch U.S. ally still haunted by decades of Russian domination during the Cold War - officials say the scope of the air exercise was beefed up specifically in response to the Russian intervention in Crimea.

Speaking on Monday at a Polish rocket defense site, not far from the Russian Baltic Fleet's base at Kaliningrad, Polish defense minister Tomasz Siemoniak said the exercise was to have been smaller, involving only transport aircraft.

But Siemoniak said that after the Russian military intervention in Crimea, Warsaw asked the Pentagon to send fighter jets instead. At least 12 F-16 fighters would be arriving in Poland this week, with 300 service personnel.

"This was our request," said Siemoniak. "We really appreciate that the reaction was that quick and significant."

Just so I get this straight:

A bunch of pro-democracy organizations in the US, Eastern European countries, Western European businesses, and native Ukrainians supporting the continued existence of Ukraine as an independent and sovereign state = imperialism.

Russian troops occupying parts of Ukraine and the Crimean parliament declaring that they're no longer part of Ukraine but instead are part of Russia = not imperialism.

I watched the vid. Russia today was developed by the Kremlin to disseminate government propaganda. That's what it is and that's what it does. Who does or doesn't quit, and who does and doesn't get fired doesn't change that fact in the least.

RT is Russia's propaganda outlet just like VOA is the USG's outlet and Fox News is the Republican party's outlet. I'm sorry your go to "anti-imperialist" news source isn't really a news source, but those are the facts.
