The prophecies of Ama

Curiously enough, Hieronymus Bosch made a table decorated with the 7 deadly sins for Philip II.
One of the decorations, that of 'Greed', features a judge accepting a bribe.

PC, what makes you think these pronouncements of Maria Liwayway Alvaran is anything but a banality? #1519

Despite our long association in this forum, you still believe that Ka Apaz and the spirit of Ama are one and that Ka Apaz is just mimicking Ama. I think you have to go to the Philippines while Ka Apaz is still alive so that you will know that they are two different entities. I have associated with Ka Apaz and Ama for a long time and I can say that they are different.

What Ama prophesied may be to you as banal but I think what He would like to emphasize is that because of greed--more money, more power, bigger and more expensive cars, bigger mansions, etc., people are becoming more materialistic and a waning regard for the kingdom of God.

Some of us don't feel like wasting money on trips just to see people who are good at imitating different voices. If I want to see that, I'll watch a Robin Williams movie.

Why can't you post the prophecies now instead of just telling us how you're going to post them?

Yes. It's called "acting".

Are Charlton Heston and Moses the same person? If not, why not?

I know, isn't it wonderful how everywhere people are being saved from the oppression of fraud and mysticism that is religion? There are countries in Europe where people who do not believe in a god are the majority. Now if we could just spread this trend to places like the Philippines.

ETA: I just saw this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philippine_Atheists_and_Agnostics_Society

It looks like there is a start in the Philippines too. Let's hope this catches on.

Why is this guy doling out these ridiculous "prophecies" one at a time over an arbitrary period, rather than presenting them all at once? Is he just stringing people along for his own amusement?

It's a fun thread - the humorous responses by the rest of you are a great read - so I don't really care how he does it. But is everyone just dancing to his tune?

Thanks for the link. I wasn't aware of the existence of that organization.

José Rizal, a Filipino nationalist and medical doctor, conceived the idea of writing a novel that would expose the ills of Philippine society after reading Harriet Beecher Stowe's Uncle Tom's Cabin. He preferred that the prospective novel express the way Filipino culture was backward, anti-progress, anti-intellectual, and not conducive to the ideals of the Age of Enlightenment.

Our national hero died (1896) in an attempt to expose the problems associated with religion. Unfortunately, such superstitions still exists in the Philippines.

When I was a student, there was an island near by called Siquijor. There, people believe in witchcraft, vampires, etc. I had an American friend who visited the place and he was fully convinced that the faith healing he saw was for real.

PC, our long association in this forum just makes it all the more obvious that Maria Alvaran is just making it up. These so-called prophesies are duds. They're either hopelessly vague, things that anyone could make up on the spot, or they're utterly wrong.

The most logical conclusion I can draw from this mess is that "Ama" is a fictional character and is definitely not a god. One would expect a god to be right at least part of the time, but so far Ama's track record is somewhat worse than that of a broken clock.

This is, IMO, possibly of some statistical significance in itself. What are the odds of Alvaran getting so many things so very wrong?

Of course we do. Do you think we forgot "Ama's" lies about the London Olympics? Do you think we don't remember how you lied to this forum about not speaking about prophecies ever again?

You and the fake "spirit of Ama" are utter liars. Please tell us why anyone should take anything you or the false prophet Ka Apaz say seriously ever again.

To be more precise, PC, I think Maria Liwayway and her entourage are making it up as they go along.
Whenever the woman is quoted, her ignorance and malice shine through.
Yes, I say malice because anyone who tried to convince people Pontius Pilate was a golem/ubashti created by a 12year old Jesus and ended up being adopted by Tiberius is clearly a dishonest operater.

Claiming people should use the KJVand the Pasiong Mahal on the one hand and fostering a belief in re.incarnation via these ridiculous stories of the corpse collecting heiress to a non-existent fortune is malicious.

Pronouncing prophecies is a malicious ploy to control people's minds.
It is despicable, PC.
Does your wife also belong to this coterie of darkness?
