Serious answer: Poor eyesight is spreading like wildfire too. Most people acquire it by the time they're 50, to the point that they can't read small print without glasses. How can that be, if it's not contagious?

If they do not want you to disrespect them in any way, then you need to be still and let them flow past you. If you put ears, eyes or fingers in the way then you are interfering.

If you have in any way measured your blood flow so that you can surely say they have controlled it, then you have tested them. Stop testing them.

Let your breath and blood just bend in the wind and allow peace to fill your mind. In this way you will be in harmony with these spirits and they will likely leave you alone in the future.

So I'm stuck looking like the idiot until I can prove supernatural is afoot.

I'm not saying ignore it -- I'm saying something more subtle; harder to do. Do not do anything that would test them. Let them flow through you freely. This is an attitude of alert relaxation. You are keenly aware of them, while you feel their emotion without reflecting it back.

Be like a blade of grass in a storm. Bend with the water and the wind, stand upright with the sun. You do not ignore the wind, the water or the sun. But, you do not let them control or break you either.

I was actually thinking I should go to HM Samuels and ask their opinion. There are no external chips and the diamond itself had a great sparkle for 19+ years. The internal smashes are clear to the naked eye, under magnification it's worthless. Same goes for the trilogy ring.

Why not consult a gemologist, flaccon? Wouldn't you like to know just what has happened to your diamonds?

I can see something that looks vaguely like a face in the last one.

That's because my brain is hardwired to look for patterns, especially faces, and will sometimes think it's found one where there is really only random noise.

This phenomenon is called pareidolia.
 
Asked Child-of-mine what she could see in those, as she has a beautifully logical mind (Hoping to do a degree in maths next year) and she said 'A crack', 'Another crack' and that the last one was a bit blue. When pushed she said there might be a sort of weird face-y thing in the second one but she could tell it was pareidolia.
