How much time do we really have?

Jewish war = Jesus second coming, end of story.
So there you have a lie already in quran, because the bible don't talk about the end of the world as planet, it talks about the end of the Jewish times (Priesthood, Temple). And if you understood this then you realize that there are no more Prophets after 70 AD, so therefore he just made things up.
As we would say copy and paste from the bible books. So he is just another crook.

Can you provide some additional details regarding the "Jewish War"?
Is this something taken from the OT or some other text?

I have, didn't seem to find anything. That's what made me wonder what sources were being used for this?
Dear heaven! Have you never heard of the destruction of Jerusalem and the Jewish Temple in 70 AD, by the Romans? Lots and lots of early Christians considered this event to be the fulfilment of a prophecy, or the punishment of the Jews for rejecting Jesus. Which of course is all nonsense, but that's what they believed.

Yeah I'm familiar with that, I think what Yellow Astra is referring to is something which the Jews believe still has yet to take place.

You should study your history, you claim to be from the UK (in your profile) but yet you are unaware of the fact that the gathering of Jewish people from among various nations (as in the formation of Israel) was actually part of a British mandate? Are you really from the UK?
I do know that, and I also know that the Jewish War, that started in 66 AD, is not included in the Old Testament. Try this source. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Jewish–Roman_War

Yellow Astra says

That has already taken place, I think. It refers to the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple during the war of 66 to 73 AD.

That is exactly the reason why the question is being raised.

If Jewish war = Jesus second coming (according to Yellow Astra)? If this is not found in the Old Testament, what is the source for this? And what is the period of time which is being referred to?

Jews don't believe that Jesus' 2nd coming took place in 66AD.

... Jews don't believe that Jesus' 2nd coming took place in 66AD.
He can come as often as he likes, but Jews don't believe Jesus is the Messiah at all, or that he ever came as Christ the first time. That's why they're all going to Hell, isn't it?

If only you would take the time to actually read the things which you claim to already know...

[Quran 2:62]
"Verily! Those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in God and the Last Day and do righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve."

*Although by choosing to reject Jesus who was sent specifically to them [Matthew 15:24, Quran 3:49], this did not make their lives any easier.

good for the Muslims if that's what they believe about Jews and Christians and Salians! that they may be saved. Now, what is it that you believe regarding Jews, Muslims and Sabians? They're all going to roast in Hell, aren't they? Because they don't believe Jesus is God. And they don't.

I went ahead and included some links to provide further clarification, but I'm not sure if it could be put into any simpler terms.

Very simple. That is what the Quran says about non-Muslim believers. Now please tell me what you say about the Muslims (who don't believe Jesus is God), Jews (ditto) and Sabians (ditto). Put this into simple terms please: they will all go to Hell, won't they?

My personal belief about Muslims who do not believe Jesus is God? OK, that is kind of a strange question, but I think they too are on the right track.

Maybe you have me confused with another member of the forums?

So many hits but you were unable to choose even one which should be shared as a relevant source. OK?

I actually come back with 205,000,000 hits when I Google the phrase "Jewish war".
.
With google, the first 4 hits should be sufficient to nail down the subject.

None of those links mention anything about "Jewish war = Jesus second coming" as Yellow Astra has suggested.

I'm pretty sure that "The Jewish War" would have to be something which Jews believe is yet to happen. Maybe something prophesied in the OT?

War of the prophets in the Middle-East. The Jewish prophet Ezekiel vs. the Moslem prophet Mohammad. It looks like the Psalms 83 war will happen first.

There are a series of wars brewing in the Middle-East.

http://www.raptureforums.com/forum/...rds-ezekiel-chapter-38-39-fullfillment-7.html POST 131 POST 131 shows the Ezekiel 38:2-6 nations uniting economically and some now have military alliances.

What about the Mahdi prophecy about the Moslems taking over the world? One prophet is wrong. Whom? Ezekiel or Mohammad?
