Nothing comparable.

Did you see the recent Porta a Porta talk show? Nothing special, but at least it was not a crying-Knox-Mellas show with a journalists putting them four sugar-coated questions.

I can't imagine why she would cry. It's not like she was wrongfully accused, imprisoned, persecuted and had her life wrecked. Oh wait. It was like that.

I agree. However, if Mignini was off on the things he is being accused of here lately wouldn't it have been clear that he was going to charge them.

I dunno, it might be a case of being 'weally, weally qwiet' while the giant toad hops by in hopes he will miss you?

Did Mignini bring the calunnia charge? I just don't remember. The judges allowing Patrick's case in the main trial is totally bogus. Letting in the disallowed statement is beyond bogus.

I have little doubt the PM had input to that charge being leveled and it being used in court against Amanda. I don't see how it could be otherwise; he certainly didn't object to it and he got his way on most every objection.

Letting Rudy have a letter read into the record in which he calls the kids the murders, well what a system.

I believe it is Randy that agrees that their defense lawyers were pathetic. Rudy had much better representation.

I dunno, hindsight is 20-20 and whatever else he might be, Mignini is a master of the game. Raffaele got the best he could, including a highly reputed parliamentarian, so it's not just Amanda's lawyers who were outdone.

Tesla I think a few things like the starch are just above your pay grade. :p No one of consequence ever said that the DNA attributed to Meredith was in fact, starch.

You can defend CD all you want but she is a proponent, not a reporter, and she mouths the talking points of the FOA.

Did you listen to Amanda on channel five say that all the others had solid alibis?

Above my pay grade?? :) What is exactly my pay grade Grinder? Considering I'm not getting paid for any of this, everything is above my pay grade. Another occasion where you are precise. Still not sure if that is correct, however.

I think you are revealing what kind of person you are to lump all Americans or all Italians into broad generalizations. There are crappy Americans and there are crappy Italians, just as there are crappy Brits and crappy Asians. There are good people all over the world too. You need some rose-colored glasses me thinks.

But the fact that the US media pushed a campaign which completely misrepresented the Kercher case, omitted and falsified the evidence, put up a Knox-show in place of reporting about the case, and pushed a defamatory campaign spreading falsehoods against Italian justice institutions, to me it is just a fact.

Do you remember the journalist outraged with the US secretary of state speaker because the Italian juror wore the Italian flag?
Or you remember the CNN journalist outside the Perugia court explaining the crowd in the square was angry with the police?
Or the fact that the US networks paid the Knox family stays in Perugia?

Sounds like someone needs a nap.

Americans are xenophobic? America is probably the most multicultural nation on the planet and we are xenophobic? Now if one is to argue that some people can be xenophobic, I would say that answer is yes. Beyond that, NO WAY.

It is very different between the U.S. and Italy. Some things are better in the U.S. and some things are better in Italy. Personally, I love Italy, maybe even more than the U.S. but that might be because it is different and people tend to like a change.

You don't need to address Machiavelli like he actually speaks for the entire world. He's just one little anti-US, frustrated communist crusader holed up under a bridge in an Italian backwater somewhere, working out his frustrations from behind a keyboard. No big deal.

He doesn't like it when victimized outsiders dare to point out the flaws in Italy, even though the Italians have noticed them, too, but are just too lazy to fix them.

BTW, Machiavelli: don't get mad, but that tower in Pisa . . . it's crooked.

I've corrected your work.

You're right. This is so wrong.

That journalist should have been outraged with the US secretary of state speaker because the Italian prosecutor hid the EDFs.

What are you up, Diocletus? Are you instead playing with pompous words on the keybord to balance your shame because this relative of yours is a little psychopathic murderer?

Tesla

Did you listen to Amanda on channel five say that all the others had solid alibis?

I did, but what does that mean? That the police "said" that all the others had solid alibis? Amanda would have a solid alibi, if the police had taken Raffaele at his word. I've learned through this case not to take the police and the prosecution at their word.

Excuse the expression, but the devil is in the details.

Which the defence did NOT request for two years.
And which were never denied by the prosecution.
They were denied by a judge!

Go on with your titty and parrot yuor lies again...

Yes. I'm Amanda's relative, just like you are Maresca.

But it's just false.

Massei convicted Knox and Sollecito of sexual violence.

Never spoke about Rudy's lust as opposed to Knox and Sollecito's indifference.
Never spove about something that Guede did "alone"; he did not even have an opportunity to be on the murder scene if it was for "Rudy alone", he was there only because of Knox, and the three were together because she let them in.

Mach go back to page 57 in this thread where I posted cut and paste from Massei's report.

It was Rudy's lust and Rudy's lust alone, acc. to Massei. It was not a sex game.

Read it for yourself, better still quote from it. Don't just declare it false.... wait, that's what you do and what Mignini did. Simply make declarations and expect everyone to believe them.

What are you up, Diocletus? Are you instead playing with pompous words on the keybord to balance your shame because this relative of yours is a little psychopathic murderer?

There you go again. Even the ONLY judge to convict the pair disagreed with psychopathology.

Everyone knows that Italian men live with their mommies until about 40 years old. That's why they need to pop the titties out of their mouth. It will help them grow balls.

I'm just trying to be helpful here.
