I presume this is all common knowledge, it is the second time I have seen the so called official release wording.

Kate Beckinsale has been cast in the upcoming Amanda Knox movie. Kate Beckinsale, who has been named the hottest woman in the world because of her portrayal of a sexy vampire, will play an investigative journalist in the upcoming film by Michael Winterbottom.

Kate Beckinsale, the hot “Underworld” star, is taking on a very different role. Kate Beckinsale just signed on to play the lead in “The Face of Angel,” which is loosely based on the story of Amanda Knox.

“The Face of an Angel is the newest film by writer-director Michael Winterbottom, who made “24 Hour Party People.” Kate Beckinsale will join Daniel Bruhl who starred in “The Fifth Estate” and Cara Delevingne from the movie “Anna Karenina” in the film.

Kate Beckinsale’s new movie will be written by Paul Viragh. Kate Beckinsale will play a reporter who is covering the Amanda Knox type case. Cara Delevingne will play the Amanda Knox character and Daniel Bruhl is plating a documentary filmmaker who is investigating the case on his own.

Amanda Knox was an American student who was convicted of killing her housemate in Italy. Amanda Knox was later set free on appeal.

Deadline says Kate Beckinsale’s “The Face of an Angel” will be released in 2014. There are also unconfirmed reports that Colin Firth may also be cast in the film.

“The Face of an Angel” in a fictionalized adaptation of Barbie Latza Nadeau's 2010 true crime novel “Angel Face.”

The official release describes “Angel Face” as: “Despite all the airtime devoted to Amanda Knox, it’s still hard to reconcile the fresh-faced honor student from Seattle with the sexually rapacious killer convicted of the November 2007 murder of her British roommate. Few Americans have heard all of the powerful evidence that convinced a jury that Knox was one of three people to sexually assault Meredith Kercher, brutalize her body, and cut her throat. In Angel Face, Rome-based Daily Beast senior writer Barbie Latza Nadeau who cultivated personal relationships with the key figures in both the prosecution and the defense describes how the Knox family’s heavy-handed efforts to control media coverage distorted the facts, inflamed an American audience, and painted an offensive, inaccurate picture of Italy’s justice system. An eye-opener for any parent considering sending a child away to study, Angel Face reveals what really went on in this incomprehensible crime.”
Melissa Parmenter is set to produce.

Finally I think when someone who brings to the various forums information and who contends to be closely involved inside the case should not be coddled and hidden when clear conflicts of interest are discovered. For example a public person was revealed on another site as a moderator on a PGP site and also they revealed his identity along with his real life web page where we could read that this man not only thinks of himself as a GOD but is also someone who claims to treat children with a cure for Autism for X amount of dollars. For me this seems like fraud abusing suffering peoples hopes for whatever the size of their bankroll is. 25 thousand IIRC. At least now posters interacting with this "God" can have an idea of who they are discussing this case with. I think this is fair and in fact it is dishonest to keep such extremely held views and ideas secreted behind an alias.

Thanks for the info on Russell.

For the record I do not cure children of anything for free or for money.

I certainly agree that people such as Russell should make his connections well known as with all book writers etc.

a public service announcement for those considering studying abroad

An eye-opener for any parent considering sending a child away to study...”
I managed to find half of one sentence from the description of the film that was true.

She professed to know Rudy Hermann Guede, although just ‚a little.‛ She remembered that she had met him in the center of town, during the course of an evening in which she had (also) met the guys who lived in her same house at Via della Pergola-- but they lived downstairs-- and they had introduced her to Rudy. Then she had spent most of the time with Meredith and they had returned home, all together. On another occasion, she met him (i.e., Rudy) at the ‚Le Chic‛ pub. She also remembered attending a party in the second half of the month of October 2007, together with the guys who lived downstairs. She had smoked a joint and every so often, with friends, she used narcotics, marijuana.

Another witness said he saw them together three times. IIRC that witness was disputed by someone here.

Amanda never said she had only met him once. She said she just knew him a little in an intercepted conversation.

CD at 22:30 of the forum says she only met him once.

ETA - Was Napoleoni the police chief? Because that's what Dempsey calls her at about 24:50. Head of the homicide squad, police chief what's the difference.

Is that from Massei? I don't think it is a perfect summary of her testimony, nor does Rudy's possibly coming into Le Chic exactly count as meeting him. Those points noted, I think this line of conversation is less productive than discussing any number of forensic questions.

Apparently "Face of An Angel" Is being financed by angry Italians.

"Few Americans have heard all of the powerful evidence that convinced a jury that Knox was one of three people to sexually assault Meredith Kercher,"
That evidence had the power to make the jury think the prosecutor may be insane.
They have a murder weapon that is a kitchen knife that was 2 large to make wounds that were in the body, which was found in a drawer at Raffaele's kitchen. Instead of disposing of this piece of evidence, did they just bring the knife home and wash it?

Thank God, after 6 years, someone is finally going to disclose all of this powerful evidence to the ignorant Americans. Winterbottom to the rescue!

Supposedly Raf had real estate that was left to him by his mother, IIRC.

Mach said that they could move assets to the Cayman's in a trust and you agreed with him.

I'm not sure what you're referring to with the Caymans.

I did not realize that Raf had $3 million E at one point, but the bottom line is that probably any money that Knox and Sollecito had, has been spent on defense costs. And those defense costs naturally have been structured in different ways to diminish liquid assets. Anything left at this point is probably being held in reserve for future defense costs, and it would be prudent to have those assets located out of the reach of Italian authorities, since they have already shown a propensity to do whatever they can to deny these people a fair trial.

This has more to do with Grinder's hatred of Candace than anything else. This is a point in which he says Candace is lying, like the point where he says that Candace says they found starch on the kitchen cooking knife.

So, did they meet once or three times? Does meeting in the street and have that carry over to the pot party downstairs qualify as one or two times? And does both being in the same place twice count as zero or one?

So, did they meet once, twice, or three times? Sounds like a song, doesn't it?

About that guy Raffaele:

At what point does a guy start getting really pissed off at the system?

And start to display real, angry emotion at the situation he has found himself in all because, just weeks before graduating college, he met a new girl, fell for her, and over the space of 1 week, hung out with her, smoked out with her, made dinner and luv with her and then went to her house to check on some odd-ness 1 morning instead of going outta town for the day with her?

Gosh,
I would come across as soooo angry and defiant in TV interviews nowadays.
It's been how many years now?

I DID NOT MURDER Meredith Kercher.
NOR DID MY GIRLFRIEND.
WE WERE NOT THERE.
Rrrrrgh...

Chris I think you have beat that horse to death :p. Seriously you and D and K have done so much work on the DNA most everyone with an open mind agrees that the ICSI blanked-up and the knife and bra are out.

I would like you to spend a little more time on the foot prints.

Coming to Le Chic does count and even Amanda never claimed she had only met him once. CD at times self describes herself as a storyteller. That's what she is, not a reporter.

Now I'd like to talk about the day of death and what really happened at Robin's. When did they eat? Did Meredith have a drink or two?

How drunk were the british girls on Halloween? Is their testimony credible?

Lalli thought the sex was not forced? Is that what led into the sex game idea?

That was the 'hypothesis' the prosecution came up with to (try to) 'explain' how the knife could have DNA from the murder but test negative for blood again and again with different tests. They argued that the knife was comprehensively scrubbed of all blood traces but some DNA remained in a 'striation' that protected it from the cleansing agent and the water--but was swabbed up easily by Stefanoni when she tested it.

That may have been the silliest damn contention they made in the case, and that's saying a lot!

Did they have sex Grinder? Does minor finger penetration count?... Damn it, I sound like Bill Clinton now.

Which foot prints? The ones in Meredith's room which Mignini presented to the court as belonging to Raffaele and Amanda but which under proper examination are shown to be made by a shoe like the ones Rudy used to have before his sudden incognito tour of Germany? Or, the bare print in the small bath which while the print itself cannot rule out either suspect, the circumstance of the print is compatible with someone steping out from the shower after washing blood from their pant leg and Rugy Guede has written that he left the cottage that night with wet pants. Or maybe you want to talk more about the luminol prints which can't be matched to any individual, can't be timed to the vicinity of the murder, don't form any patern and can't even be identified as to the material they were made of except that they tested negative for blood; but that didn't stop the prosecution from claiming that they were made by Amanda and Raffaele running naked through the cottage after murdering Meredith.

Is it the prosecutors job to win the case?"
That concept could be the theme for a new movie about Foxy Knoxy.
Mignini could be the mentor and he discusses this issue with his protege.
Mignini explains the adversarial system of justice as it is a battle between 2 lawyers the one who has the truth on his side will win. ,well at least that's how its supposed to work.
Then we see Mignini putting fake news in the newspapers ( for the unsequestored jury to read ) And the lawyer with the lies wins the case.

Why the hate word? Don't believe I said that, in fact, I've made the point that I don't know her.

Now what I hate is inaccurate statements when the person knows they are inaccurate.

Amanda has never said she only met him only once. The FOA started out saying they had never met as part of their railroad job from hell campaign.

It is more evidence that she is more PR than reporter.
