No I don't agree with NIST. They say the interior of WTC 7 collapsed on the east side first going north to south and then east to west naturally. If that were true then the east side exterior would have started coming down when the interior went down on that side. It doesn't.

Except it does. The 'kink' develops through both interior and exterior(at least on the north face) consistent with the location of first visible failure, the collapsing of the east penthouse. Then the structure east and west of that line also collapse.
The rooftop structure failure also indicates an east to west failure as the western rooftop structures collapse after the east mechanical penthouse.
Then there is the definite difference in construction east of the kink than west of it. To the west , the north side of the structure relies upon the cantilever truss system whereas to the east no such system is employed.

I fail to see how you would justify that thought given that the east penthouse failure is quickly followed by the western rooftop structures also falling, and the quite obvious fact that the first exterior failure is the 'kink' which lines up with the east penthouse, and indeed col 79's location.

, and that the full core was cut over eight stories lower in the building at one time and that is what caused the symmetric collapse of the exterior.

Why is it that you cannot see that a very specific line of the exterior failed first?

There is no need to cut the exterior when the core will pull it inward over eight stories making its resistance insignificant.

WOW! So after years of being told that the only way to achieve free fall acceleration is for there to be absolutely no columns intact you now tell us that this only applies to interior columns.

What you mean is that the vast majority of people who turned out at GZ today were there to pay their respects to those who died 12 years ago rather than sport placards and shout and be ,,,,,, hmm cannot think of a descriptor that would pass muster wrt to the forum rules, but the word I was considering is literally part of the lower gastrointestinal tract.

A online version of Time magazine has just published a story, neutral in tone, about the Truther campaign to draw attention to the collapse of WTC 7 by explosives and a new large Times Square Billboard that makes this claim.

The comments section that follows the article has given the Truthers a national platform to spread disinformation. I could use some help on "freefall" and other topics. (I have the silly 1900 list covered). But it is me against 30.

Probably due to the usual carpet bombing with truther tweets that we see every September 11 and some coverage in the media (Time, CBS Philadelphia, CBC, some Ottawa newspaper and, of course, RT), yesterday they had the highest number of both ReThink911 petition signers and Facebook likes in one day since the campaign started (over 2,600 respectively). Let's see how much of this modest spike they can sustain in the next days.

I stopped by their "Times Square" rally as Gage was finishing speaking. There were probably 100-120 people seated along the road and hardly anyone stopping to listen. It wasn't even in Duffy Park, it was alongside the road (47th). Not the best place to get attention. They had a guy on the corner of 47th and 7th trying to get people to pay attention to it by saying there was a "meeting" going on about 9/11. I think it's safe to say after that display that no one is really paying attention.
