Merged So there was melted steel

You want to end the discussion where it's supposed to start. The premise of the OP is that there was melted steel, the question is what does that mean.

What does melted steel tell you about the buildings collapse?

Right. I'll let you guys carry that discussion. You're the ones asking the question.

Please explain how this is relevant to anything we're discussing.

You know: applying your knowledge to problems at hand?
Well it's you that was questioning whether structural steel is ductile at room temperature. I've given you the figures for A36 steel. Why don't you look up "A36 steel" and "elongation" to find out if structural steel is ductile?

It's got everything to do with ductility. You just don't understand. It's mildly amusing toying with you because you simply have no idea what I'm talking about. This is rudimentary stuff.

If you're going to insist on this, I'll just refer you to my request in post 608.

Noone is obliged to your attempt to reverse the burden of proof... You're insisting they were liquid like piles... prove that first... Because your cult said so on some conspiracy cult website, doesn't cut it...

no ergo you have made the big deal out of it so you have to prove what that deal is so far zippo nothing......

so far sunstealer has showed they know how steel works and ergo ahs shown that they do not

I'm sorry, but it's impossible to argue with logic that says reports of molten steel must be erroneous because building fires don't melt steel while simultaneously saying that molten steel in the WTC rubble pile would not be unusual at all.

You're the ones who need to resolve this logical inconsistency, not me.

Ergo you clearly do not understand what Sunstealer has explained in very clear terms, so your so far your statements about steel are pointless.

no it is clear you do not understand Suntstealers description of what happens with steel, there is on inconsistency and you are the one that has raised the issue so the burden of proof rests with you.

So you agree he's right?

Using a materials science definition, I'm sure he is.

That's why I've asked him to produce some non-WTC evidence or documentation of structural steel piling on itself in a liquid fashion from compression only.
