It was the year 1978. And in that year, in the month of August, a woman successfully gave birth to one of the twins she had been carrying. In gratitude to the Gods for this miracle child she named him "Travis" and the universe gives thanks these days by gifting him with many awesome Stundie nominations.

Guidelines for what is a good Stundie nominee:

1) Posts must be funny.

2) Posts must exhibit ignorance, faulty logic or stupendous arrogance mixed with an ironic mistake.

3) No spelling errors, typos, grammar issues or math mix-ups unless they are deliciously ironic.

4) Posts should not just be something you disagree with.

5) All nominated posts must have some sort of link or screenshot to prove the reality of the post and its source.

6) Keep the introductions short and sweet as Stundies should not need too much background.

7) Nominated posts should be cut down to the nominated part which should be concise and stand on its own.

8) This is not the place for ad hominems so a post should be funny independent of knowing who it is that said it.

9) Pictures are not generally allowed on their own but descriptions of pictures, provided they meet all other previously stated requirements, are allowed.

10) Videos are not allowed on their own but transcripts of videos, provided they meet all other previously stated requirements, are allowed even if you personally did the transcribing.

11) Long words should be spelled phonetically.

12) You will have to spell that word "fone net ick lee".

Someone already pointed out, in the July Stundies, the unusual post on Cluesforum suggesting that maybe, just maybe, the Spanish train derailment actually happened.

Some times real events happen, but was it an accident?

Boy, that's almost a voice of sanity. So close!

Of course, others at Cluesforum can't imagine a situation in which actual, known people (like a priest) die in real life. And so, the obvious rebuttal follows:

This "real victims" situation is very similar to what happened for example around Smolensk "crash" with Polish president in April 2010.
Lots of very well known people disappeared from public life as a result of this psyop but it doesn't mean they really died that day . IMHO states are run by secret services via their agents , assets in media politics , church and whatnot . In one point in time they are given an order from their managing officers to "die" or give a false personal account to some particular event just like a screen writer decides what happens to his characters in the movie .

One needs to look at televised world around us like it is a soap opera because that's what it really is .

(Emphasis added.)

Some new and ummm interesting thoughts on pyramids,

most people think as earth bound humans who have no experience or knowledge out side of what we are taught in school, church our parents and the controlled media which has a truthcensorship happening as we have just witnessed and we have pyramids covering the globe which are somehow the same mathmaticaly and much, much more and also linked together using math you can see this from space and also which seems to be taboo is that are ocean floors are covered in pyramids so even someone with professional skeptics/debunking syndrome can see there is a connection and that these pyramids have some major purpose.

I did not know the ocean floors are covered in pyramids and also to therefor the mathematics.

so none of these brighteyes notice that a four sided pyramid is the easiest tall structure to construct (and not fall down) and,,,, happens to resemble the mountains that ancient peoples would be quite familiar with?

^That's classic earth bound human thinking right there.

I've discovered that circles are somehow the same mathematically! - {gasp!}

Homeopathy is Magic. Readers of a homeopathy blog are asked to share their experiences of the magical healing properties of homeopathy:

"The only amazing experience I have had may be a little too wacky for your blog, Steve, but here-goes anyway! I had a wasp sting on one one the fingers of my left had while gardening, went indoors and opened a bottle of Apis which I was holding in the same hand. Before removing a pill the pain vanished and I don't think I bothered to take it. It wasn't even a bee sting! Presumably the energy of the remedy was close enough to my sting for it to work. (Teresa)"

This could be bad for stores that sell homeopathic remedies. Who's going to buy a product when they could just walk into the store, hold the bottle in their hand for a moment, and get the same results?

Sounds dangerous to me.
If higher dilutions are more powerful, logically, not taking it could lead to an overdose.

That's only if they would be dumb enough to put a sign over them that says "You must truly believe, for the medicine to work properly." :D

For someone so paranoid about radiation and whatnot, the Alternative crowd seem strangely comfortable around these "energies". How do they know they're safe? Have they been tested for consequences of long-term exposure?

If you exist you're a rotter

"Hey,do you guys have any theory of how could we spot reptilians?

Let's Answer questions like:
-Can they read your mind?
-Are reptilians even real?
-How did you start believing in their existance?
-Do you believe in Astral Travelling?

Etc, all mysterious thing everything about these nasty disgusting evil beings, if they actually exist of course... "

Tickled me:D

So why are Reptilians assumed to be evil, with no evidence for their evil deeds. It's because they are green right? Racial stereotyping to include the Lawful Evil alignment of an entire race of green reptililian humanoids?

So CTers play 2nd Edition AD&D?

As a tech I see a similar occurance. A report of a device not functioning comes in but when the tech shows up or the device gets on the workbench, it functions perfectly. We call it tech-touch.:D
