Actually js, I'll say it again, I've not lied once. I heard calebs audio, I don't know what your hearing but I hear a very loud drone all the way through, almost burst my ear drums. It isn't quiet and it wasn't sent to my email address. I thanked caleb, not sure what else to tell you about that, but I don't see the lie.

Flaccon, Caleb's file contains utter silence. No noise, no background, nothing. If you heard anything on that file then it was not from the file at all, it was from your equipment and the file is irrelevant.

If you heard a continuous drone or anything at all, then that is proof positive that your equipment/settings are introducing artefacts which do not exist in the files.

And your ridiculous claim that a silent file must be sent to your email was just that...ridiculous. You could've easily downloaded the file(s) offered. It wouldn't have made the slightest difference whether you downloaded them or they were sent to your email. That is just your convenient excuse to not match the efforts made here.

They were observations of how it is here. They do have clear sentences, and they do respond. These are not claims, just observations.

No, they are claims. If you heard them, and told no one, that would be an observation. Transmit what you observed to other people makes it a claim.

Message "We want to end trouble"

Haven't spirits existed for quite some time, according to most theories? So, if they want to end trouble, why haven't they just done it? Why wait eons to find some hallucinating nut to transmit messages to via a computer/wires/magic fingers to state what they WANT to do?

Why do spirits want to change the world anyway? They don't inhabit the world. They're spirits. World strife doesn't affect them in the slightest. I think I've asked this before, and flacon unsurprisingly failed to answer. Who cares what they want to do? I want to win a million dollars. Most people do. Wanting is insignificant. DOING is what counts. And the spirits have done nothing...ever.

Interviewer: This is Ima Reporter on the scene. Today, we are in Chester with a women who has a very unusual ability. To protect her anonymity, we will address her simply as TPL, and maybe blur her face. So, TPL, tell us about your unusual gift.

TPL: Well, it is not a gift. I am simply a person chosen by the spirits to help them deliver a very important message, a message to save all of humanity.

Ima: Very interesting, indeed! What is the message?

TPL: The message is, "We want to end trouble."

Ima: That's, um, well, maybe we'll come back to that later. How do the spirits communicate with you?

TPL: I just enable my web cam, turn up the volume on the microphone, and record 15 seconds or so of silence....

Ima: You use the web cam to record audio? And if you want silence, shouldn't you lower the gain on the mic?

TPL: No, it doesn't work that way. I need the silence to be as loud as possible, otherwise we wouldn't be able to hear it on playback.

Ima: That's, um, well, um, why don't you show us.

TPL: Sure. Here goes. <15 second pause> There! Done. Now, we can play it back with the volume on the speakers cranked up, and you'll here the spirits clearly speaking. Wait. Let me ask them a question, first. Spirits, how are you today?

HISSSSSS...click...chirp...hisss...HISSSSSS...kak...hissss.....

TPL: There! Did you hear it? The spirits said, "Fine". I asked them how they were today, and they said "Fine."

Ima: Ah, sorry. Where did you hear that?

TPL: Listen again. Put your ear near the speaker.

HISSSSSS...click...chirp...hisss...HISSSSSS...kak

TPL: Right there! "Fine", clear as day!!

Ima: I think that was where I cleared my throat during the recording.

TPL: No! The spirits have altered the recording to say "Fine".

Ima: Hmmm. I hear "kak". I don't think it was altered.

TPL: Had to be. You didn't say "Fine" when you cleared your throat, but that's what's there now.

Ima: That's, um, well, fine.

flacon, what is your explanation for the silent file that did not change?

flacon has audacity on her computer, there really is no reason that a .wav can not be used... except that a high quality, silent file does not give her the artifacts needed. When she gets a truly silent file she does not hear the voices as we see in the following series of post below.

I don't wish to sound stupid (understatement) but I have little knowledge of audio equipment. My only thought is to record the recorded files, onto a different laptop, to add lots more volume, to bring out the background. I shall purchase an external mic, to compare quality.

That's why it's a suggestion to use software. It's also not the first time; you even used Audacity yourself, many pages ago.

Record a perfectly empty WAV file by using Audacity. When you want to talk to your "spirits" then play that empty file in the normal way you always do.

Tell us what happens.

Yes Alderbank explained how to do that. I just done one. It will only play through Audacity, and it is completely silent.

Now ask a "spirit" a question or whatever it is you do. Replay that silent recording. Any replies?

Total silence.
