ETA: delete. I can't summarize all the statements BDLR is making. You need to watch it for yourself

It can't be summarized because the prosecution has not, at any point, even come close to putting forth a coherent theory on how Zimmerman committed murder. I don't think they actually ever felt there was a chance to get a murder conviction, and were hoping that emotional appeals alone would carry them to manslaughter.

Sadly, it may work.

ETA: Bernie during closing: "... no, not first degree. But his actions resulted in death did (they) not?" Pretty much just praying for manslaughter at this point.

If BDLR's voice continues to increase in pitch at its current rate he's going to be practically inaudible by the end of his closing.

Appeal to emotion for $1000 Alex.

True. But isn't that par for the course for closing statements? I recall the OJ prosecutors ending with a recorded 911 call from Nicole Brown in their closing statement ("He's OJ Simpson. I think you know his record.").

I'm at TAM so I missed trial coverage yesterday. I did see them attacking the Zimmerman dolls on TV last night. That was weird. I'm assuming they were demonstrating how Martin was attacking Z?

I think the state's strategy all along has been to try to create a reasonable doubt that Zimmerman acted in self-defense, and then hope the jury will choose complete the rest of the journey on their own.

BDLR submits that 'it did not start at the tee, as the defendant claims' , but does not tell us the states theory of where it did start.

BDLR submits that a witness saw TM on GZ, , but BDLR thinks there was a "fight" , but not not tell us the states theory of where and when that fight happened

ETA: Finally, BDLR insinuating that GZ may have had the gun out 30 seconds prior to the shooting

BDLR: talks about "defendant chasing victim"

When did the state go from following to chasing ? What witness/evidence goes to "chasing" ?

Every question BDLR asks is reasonable doubt. If there is room for a reasonable person to question these fact sets, then there is reasonable doubt.

Tweets from Kathi Belich about the jury:
@KBelichWFTV Kathi Belich, WFTV

Juror E 40 is leaning her head on her hand.

Juror B 29 is avoiding eye contact with the prosecutor. She's in the front row.

E6 is not taking notes now.. After taking notes the entire trial. Others are taking some notes.
