How do you know that? What have you done to eliminate that possibility?

Please don't say that you have found other people who also think they hear what you think you hear, because that would also happen if it was pareidolia.

ETA: oops, did not notice the quote was filled in, and she's already said precisely that.

There is a way to rule out pareidolia, as has been explained umpteen times. You need to get the voices to tell you something you did not already know, which can then be verified.

In particular, people saying that something sounds like a voice, or any other particular sound, doesn't rule out pareidolia because that is precisely what pareidolia is.

Yes.

Tracey, stop being deliberately obtuse. Even if the good doctor meant "haunted" in the context of ghosts, be would not state you have been haunted for 20 years as a fact. The doctor has no way of knowing if that is true. The inference in the letter is the good doctor was repeating what you told him, nothing else.

I have opened a Box account. I am going to upload to there.
I don't manipulate wires btw. I prefer to record total silence. Alderbank uploaded his silent file to his Box account, claiming it had not altered, and that it was still silent all the way through, and of course it was. Alderbank hasn't sent me this file via email for me to run it through this machine, I have received no files from Alderbank
It goes to show that if Alderbank can upload a silent recording and it still remain silent after uploading (no interferences at all) jsfisher's should have remained unchanged

It does appear that no matter what these spirits are showing me lately, altering files, uploading clear words, altering machines, it isn't proof enough. I really do need to bow out from here, and stop wasting people's time.

All your files are named according to what you yourself hear. On that file I definitely hear 'Wimbledon' so I followed your custom and renamed it. Perhaps I heard that word because I used to live in SW19. Or maybe because of the endless trailers on radio and TV about the tennis fest.

No-one else who played that fileheard 'Wimbledon'. But no-one heard 'evidence' either

I don't claim to see the supernatural everywhere? I don't "see" anything. I moved to here and had 12 years of peace.

Alderbank, the file is definitely wrongly titled, but it is your word against mine, so no point in arguing this fact.
 
With all the audio files that have been sent back and forth and spread out over so many pages, I must admit I rather lost track since I assumed it would be a dead end.

Can someone pull it together for me, please?

flaccon insists files have been altered by having been listened to on her own computer, and I think she further claimed that the original files may be altered too.

So do we have in all this one good clear example of a file which had its fingerprints taken before it was sent to flaccon and which has been returned 'altered'? If so, is it altered or not?

So far, I've heard three sound files, with nothing or nothing intelligible.

I'd be happy to apply my mad skillz, if there were anything to apply them to.

The first 6 years were the years that I witnessed what the spirit was doing to other members of my family. I witnessed it and reported it to the local Bishop, and they dealt with it.

Flaccon, it is becoming clearer and clearer that you have no interest in furthering the salvation of mankind with your repeated refusal to read and digest what is being written here. You have had a wealth of advice and instruction (often repeated) and not one scintilla of this this seems to have sunk in. You MUST rule out pareidolia by testing and NOT by assertion. What you witnessed is anecdote and it's been explained to you previously why that won't fly.
