Penultimate Amazing
Just an aside. So does anyone feel like explaining these testimonies suggesting explosives went off in theater 8?
Testimonies? show me blast damage consistent with explosives and we'll go from there.

If a gun doesn't produce flashes, bangs, or popping sounds there's a problem. Guns also produce shrapnel. And heat.
As for the smoke, he was using smoke bombs. Which would also be the hissing.
The only "explosives" involved were the propellent charges of the bullets.
It was also said that the gunman threw two canisters emitting a gas or smoke, partially obscuring the audience members' vision, making their throats and skin itch, and causing eye irritation. He then fired a 12-gauge Remington 870 Express Tactical shotgun, first at the ceiling and then at the audience. He also fired a Smith & Wesson M&P15 semi-automatic rifle with a 100-round drum magazine, which malfunctioned after reportedly firing about 40 rounds. Finally, he fired a Glock 22 40-caliber handgun. He shot first to the back of the room, and then toward people in the aisles. A bullet passed through the wall and hit a person in the adjacent theater 8, which was screening the same film.
The OP is not doing a very good job of explaining his hypothesis.

You should try to get to the facts before you speak
Lol. You are saying there are 3 guns present in theater 8? Perhaps you might explain why you think these guns made their way into theater 8...Oh, and how many guns are in theater 8 in your theory?According to the cited sources at wikipedia, possibly 3 guns

So... What would the football team have done to interfere?
Ah how did 'they' know that a football team would show up in that theatre?
Because the gunman carried them in.
(Was that a trick question?)
ETA: My Mistake. That was theater 9.
He's trying to suggest that the wall between two theater rooms was thick enough to block bullets, I guess.

kinda like that first welcoming rebuttal, right?
So let's take it slow
"we heard a hiss"
Anybody feel like explaining this "hiss"?
Do you see the problem, now, or no?
The "hiss" was the sound of the Reptilians as they planted explosive devices in the name of their Rigelian overloards. The Rigelians' plan is to trick America into banning guns so that our country can be more easily invaded. Then, after their victory is assured, they will enslave mankind and use us for cheap labor and food.

Hahahaha. It's ok, hombre. Do you see the problem, now, or no?
