Why you would be bothered with internet stalking is beyond comprehension, you obviously have little of importance to do with your life.
Kathy, Kathy77, Katiemouse66, littleelvis8,
I have never posted as the above names.

More nonsense halley, I have never posted any such thing. Think before you post.
If she isn't a believer in predestination, then she's parroting the talking points of someone who is.

According to the theology she's advocating, you aren't worth administering to because God didn't decide you should be saved. You weren't chosen so you will never see the light. Predestination was always a garbage theology, a cop-out to escape the difficult questions about people who die having never heard the word of God.

Were the HeyMartha mods wrong to ban you? Did you, in fact, post under Beth, BETHR, Beths, Elizabeth, ElizabethR, Janadele©,JANADELES, Kathy, Kathy77, Katiemouse66, LDS Australia, littleelvis8, Sarah - Janadele Ryman and/or Janadele Ryman Stewart?

Also, when will you provide your practical, empirical evidence, attested to by neutral sources, for the existence of, for instance, horse culture, cattle husbandry, iron technology, and/or the cultivation of domesticated wheat and barley in the pre-Colombian Americas?

Why did you only deny four of the listed names? Why do you dishonestly claim to be the first female DJ in Australia, when you are not?

Simple syllogism Slow.

P1 if the church is true none of that matters.
p2 the church is true.
C None of that matters.

Now, can we focus on issues that matter to your salvation?

Oh, and it's not stalking, Janadele, it's simply collecting information which is publicly posted, and that is not in any way illegal. What you fail to realise is, that while YOU may forget what you post, the internet does not.

ETA: All of that info was the result of a single search, that's right, just one google yielded all of that data. One.

Do you mean, issues such as why Janadele sent me a censorial PM, even after I asked her not to; and even after I told her that the next time she saw fit so to do, I would consider that permission to publish the contents of her uninvited messages in the thread?

Arent you foirgetting the International Internet RulesTM©®?

Arent you foirgetting the International Internet RulesTM©®?

Ah, well see, that's a difficult one. Were we to apply those, any criticism of mormonism would result in besuited, spotty teenagers at your doorstep, and no-one wants that.

Best we suspend the "International Internet Rules" for any LDS discussion, else we will be swarmed by youngers elders.

But internet spamming is another matter entirely, isn't it?
I note you snipped a few names: are those the ones you have posted as?

Janadele:

You may have missed thiis, so I will re-post it.

LDS in the news

Thomas Monson: Lord?
God Almighty: What is it this time?
TM: Umm, nothing much. Just an FYI, I guess.
GA: You guess?
TM: Well, yeah, in case you see it in the news....
GA: More bad news?! What is it with your lot? Why can't you be more like the Hindus? I never have any problems with the Hindus.
TM: I thought the Jews were your favorite.
GA: Three words: Bacon double cheeseburger. Not Kosher. The Jews need to step out of the past if they want to regain Chosen People status.
TM: Ok, so who is your favorite now?
GA: Baptists.
TM: Seriously?!?
GA: Yes, Baptists. Ever here of the Buffalo chicken wing? Invented by a Baptist, and not far from Palmira, actually.
TM: You picked your Chosen People based on a chicken recipe?
GA: No, of course not. That was merely a minor contributor. The thing that tipped the scale, though, was a Texas Baptist discovery: The Bacon Explosion. Google it.
TM: Good, Lord!!
GA: Yes, I am, but enough of this aside. What is it you don't want me to read in the news?
TM: Well, it involves some young boys....
GA: Stop right there! I thought we dealt with this whole child-diddling thing back when you guys opted for statehood over polygamy. What happened?
TM: You did tell us to get a hobby.
GA: Don't even think about trying that excuse. You know full well this is not what I meant. The all-knowing thing may not work as well as it used to, but at close range, with eye contact...so I'll smite you right here and now if you attempt to spin-doctor this.
TM: Sorry.
GA: Ok, so what are you doing about it?
TM: Nothing, really. You know how we insist the Book of Mormon is inerrant, and then we continually revise it? Well, the membership is so wrapped up in that little paradox, we can just slip this matter right past them, and they will never notice.
GA: Just as well. But let me make this perfectly clear: No third chance. One more boner* like this and I'll whip up a custom priest-only version of AIDS. Take care of you and the Catholics, both.
TM: Understood.

Fascinating. You honestly DON'T realize the undercurrent of predestination theology that underlies your dismissive attitude towards non-Mormons. Your comprehension of your own alleged belief really IS that shallow.

If I ever get a parrot, I'll have to name it Janadele.

There's a thread in Community "Who do you (fictionally) love?"

I'm changing my answer to jsfisher. That was beautiful.

Thanks. I'm hoping Janadele reads it, and it inspires her so that she nominates it. (Although reporting it is more likely.)

The Hill Cumorah Pageant is coming up on July 12-13 and 16-20.
http://www.hillcumorah.org/Pageant/
It's quite a lavish production. I would venture a guess it is the largest lip synched event in the entire universe. Come see the near completely lily white crowds. Free pictures of what looks like George Harrison are free for the taking. Check out the dozens of protesters from "What Mormons Don't Tell You" lined up on Rt. 21.

Heh. Those white Middle Easterners and American Indians from your link are just priceless.

Went to a pageant once when I was a kid visiting my sister in Utah one summer. I didn't realize it was lip-synched, but I do recall being bored beyond words.

Utah!? This one here is the real deal! Performed on the western side of the hill where the plates are buried. Donny Osmond starred (?) in it a few years ago. A slight buzz from your poison of choice is recommended.

Thanks to the Arizona "We're a theocracy now" law:

A vegetarian Mormon can now deny medical care to any meat eater.

ANY Mormon can now deny medical care or service to anyone who drinks alcohol or coffee.

But wait! It gets better!

Realistically, the ability to sue religiously offensive businesses into oblivion may very well make Arizona a magnet for control hungry religions. You can stake out an area and sue anyone who offends you into financial ruin. It's insidious and astoundingly short sighted to pass such a law. It's as if the bill sponsors WANT the state to devolve into a series of religious battles and conflicts.

Assuming of course this passes the state Senate.

Any follow-up on that, halleyscomet?

You forgot the bit about tempting good people to commit the ultimate blasphemy of believing they can also be gods one day. That's why many Christians think the LDS is the work of Lucifer.

That's exactly the point my YEC colleague uses in his condemnation the LDS. He equates them with many of the New Age sects in that sense.

I almost missed this article because I don't care for political mudslinging. This is exactly the type of biased source that Janadele is complaining about. However, I decided to spend a few minutes doing independent research on the list in this article, and found unbiased sources for nearly all of these cases. I have a hard time believing that Deseret News, ABC News, Fox News, and Huffington Post all have an anti-Mormon bias! Here's what I found---names are linked to the source article, and quotes are a small snippet from each article.

Lon Harvey Kennard:

Eneudo Petit, Mormon Bishop:

Timothy McCleve, Mormon Bishop:

John Baysen, Mormon Missionary:

Jack LaHolt, most notorious Mormon Scout Master: I'm unable to find any free news sources on this case---they're all archived due to age. If anyone has a Findlaw subscription they could look up this case number for more details on Mr. LaHolt's transgressions: 2004 WL 1282850 (Cal.App. 6 Dist. 2004).

Frank Curtis, Mormon Boy Scout leader and Sunday School teacher:

Susan Brock, Relief Society:

I highly recommend giving the linked article a read. It's an extremely complicated and fascinating case. Ms. Brock's husband was a prominent County Supervisor and politician, and Ms. Brock's daughter was also involved in the case :eye-poppi

Art Phillips, Mormon Sunday School teacher: I was unable to find any free news sources on this case---they're all archived due to age. There's also a great deal of red herring flooding due to the fact that there's a much-loved Vancouver mayor also named Art Phillips.

Eric Patrick "Ricky" Avant, Mormon Boy Scout Leader, sentenced to 26 years for molesting boys over multiple years:

LA Times news archive, including court documents and contemporary news articles about the Avant case. This is a great resource for any sexual abuse case involving the Boy Scouts between 1947 and 2005 and contains information on about 5,000 people who were expelled from the Scouts on suspicion of sexual abuse.

Richard Kenneth Ray, LDS member who confessed to two LDS Bishops:

Ryan Whitaker, Mormon Sunday School Teacher:

Please note that there is only ONE CASE on the list that I wasn't able to verify using an unbiased, free news source. There is a second case on the list that requires a subscription in order to download the case file. The fact that there's an actual court file on record means that it's the most unbiased source available, the court file itself.

The VAST MAJORITY of these cases were easily verifiable by doing simple Google searches. None of MY sources are anti-Mormon blogs. None of these cases are based on rumor or mudslinging, in spite of the bias of the original source of the list. FACTS ARE FACTS---saying that one source is biased doesn't make the other sources biased as well. Nor does claiming bias do ONE THING to mitigate these people's guilt or help their victims.

One may say, "Well, that's nothing compared to the Catholic Church." Does it really matter that the Catholic Church has been caught covering up similar cases? No, pointing the finger at the Catholic Church and saying "B-b-but, but, but, they did it too!!!" doesn't mitigate the crimes of the LDS church and the Mormon perpetrators of these crimes. The Catholic Church is also paying the price for their bad behavior, and their transgressions are also being exposed publicly. If anyone would like to start a thread called "But the Catholics did it too!" and provide me with a list of prominent Catholic clergy members who are alleged child molesters, I'd be glad to provide the same verification service in that thread that I've provided here about the LDS Church.

IMPORTANT NOTE: On some of the more "biased" sites, there are long lists of other cases that the LDS Church has settled out of court without admitting any wrongdoing. There are also a large number of cases in which the defendant plea-bargained to a lesser charge and got out with a slap on the wrist that didn't really make headlines. These cases that I've verified here are merely the tip of the iceberg.

Edit: I left out Arthur Gary Bishop

This true crime article is 11 pages long, so I haven't read it all yet.

Thanks for dedicating the time and effort to investigate those claims!
