Cleon
King of the Pod People
Having a Spanish sounding name does not mean you're from Latin America either. Gee, maybe you have roots in Spain?
You don't say.

So the new Machete is gonna have Charlie Sheen AND Mel Gibson! That's a lot of crazy.
Hopefully they can add Tom Cruise and Zombie Klaus Kinski in the following sequel.

Carlos Estevez is his actual name. His grandfather was from Spain. His brother, Emilio Estevez, is rather well known, as is his father, Ramon Estevez (better known as Martin Sheen).
I had no idea that Emilio Estevez was related to Charlie Sheen or Martin Sheen either.
I like Emilio better.![]()
I was a big fan of Emilio Estevez when I was young, in large part due to the Young Guns movies, where his brother Charlie also plays a part.

Emilio did a great job in The Breakfast Club.
That actually surprises me.
Charlie looks so much like his father, that they did an ad using that fact as a joke. (It was a check card commercial, where Charlie tried to use a check, but it took so long, that by the time the check was approved, he was Martin)
Emilio does look a little different, but the family resemblance is still strong.
And the three have almost identical voices. One of the most frustrating things I ever heard was a radio interview with all three (or possibly just Charlie and Emilio). Each person had to identify themselves every time they started speaking because otherwise a radio audience would not know.
Didn't care for Young Guns. It was Repo Man that made me a fan.
Also, Martin Sheen played Charlie's father in Wall Street, a fact which was referenced in Hot Shots! Part Deux, when they see each other boating down a river and both say "I loved you in Wall Street!"
Which scene of course started off with Charlie riffing on Martin's "Apocalypse Now" shtick.
