Yes, when I said education, that would most importantly (but not only) include educating people about the ways fake psychics and psychic mediums can try to trick people.I agree that education would be good. I would have hoped you meant educating people how these charlatans trick people though.
I think he does already reach as many people as he can. presumably as long as they have got their cash ready though.
Years ago a friend went to see a clairvoyant and taped the sitting. She was really impressed with what the "psychic" told her. She couldn't understand how the "psychic" new the stuff she told her. When she listened to the tape though our friend realised that she had given her all the clues herself. That's what cold reading is all about. If some "Psychics" don't let people record the sittings then that is why.
She couldn't get away with saying any of that because that is not what she told the victims mother. She told her she was dead. The only people who could buy such nonsense as misinterpreting symbols is people who desperately want to believe this rubbish.
As far as the cash goes, I would still charge you extra. And your rate increases every time you disagree with me.
As far as taping, ironically, ALL the fake psychics and psychic mediums (even well known ones) I have been to had absolutely NO problem with me taping the travesty. I never even had to listen to any of the tapes to discover they were fakes. Precisely because I was so aware, and educated about the possible ways fakes try to trick people etc.
And lastly, with regard to my statement about a way Sylvia could attempt to justify her bogus reading, I was just being facetious. But yes, even though it was ridiculous, some people may have bought it. Didn't a cousin of Amanda Berry express her continued support of Sylvia Browne? Or was that just what Sylvia Browne claims happened?
