That's a possibility, but I think it's likelier that they are caught. Even Eric Rudolph, Ramzi Yousef and Ted Kzycyzynzysnzki were eventually nabbed.

I still think that there is just so much video and pictures. I just can't imagine the person or people involved didn't find themselves on tape.

What sputtering incompetence. They not only didn't release the pictures 24 hours ago, they can't even start their press conference on time.

Real life investigations are not like an episode of CSI where everything is wrapped up in a hour.
I am sure that this investigation is now has a abosolute highest priority in the DOJ, and they have been given the green light for whatever expendature in manpower and money needed to solve it.
And the bitter fact is that in most cases dozens of false leads are investigated before they find the one that is real.
Real life ain't like a TV Show. It is shocking how many people don't get that.

The pictures are supposed to be on fbi.gov, but the site is currently unavailable because everyone is trying to access it.

Sheesh---reporting is all over the place. I just heard on NPR a while ago that the FBI says they never referred to the 2 guys they're looking for as "suspects", and that they're not willing to say they consider them suspects.

The first guy didn't look white... The second guy looked white... Maybe middle eastern.
 
Just like they said..., backwards hat and light hoodie under dark jacket.

That first guy looks a lot like some of the 4Chan "suspects", the 2 guys wearing similar clothing, dark jackets brown pants
 
The darker skinned guy will be harder to ID, I think. Probably easier in the case of the other guy.
