Nice find, Fillippo Lippi.
I read a bit of the thread and was surprised to see the folk there never mention the 14C dating.

Wow there's a lot of crap being spouted there. McCrone didn't find organic material? No successful re-creation of the shroud...............
Those people are either in terminal denial of reality or haven't bothered to do even the most basic research.

Yeah. They still seem to believe in the 'invisible patch' thingie.
Amazing.

To quote Justin Timperlake, cry me a river.

[nitpick]
I believe it's Timberlake. However, that's largely irrelevant, since the Julie London song of the same name is vastly superior.

(Does JT's song have a couplet remotely approaching

...
Told me love was too plebeian
Told me you were through with me and
...

? )

Indeed, zooterkin.

And now for something completely different, there's Airbourne's version of the same text (cry me a river) in the song "Running Wild":

Funny enough, me either. Possibly one of those links barred by geography. Or not, as others seem to be able to get it. I know I can't see it,much as it might be interesting. Possibly a malformed URL? Yay Jabba, we agree on something.

I can't open it either, or any of the links to that site.

What a pity.
The discussion there was ongoing til yesterday. I'm glad to have read it.

Yep the domain is experiencing a little downtime according to Netcraft.

e. I may be wasting time with this preface (as I'm sure that you guys believe), but it is in an effort to figure out how best to deal with so many opponents, questions and comments in a timely manner when I haven’t kept good track of the relevant material I’ve been reading (not really “studying” until recently) over the last 40(?) years.

But you do keep track of it all now, now that people in this thread have helpfully shown you exactly how you can, right?

Ah! How majestic this wreck! I love the slow-motion destruction of the fake shroud and all its 'glory'.
