Well, for example, as you asked, the details/facts of the extent and nature of Ms Watson's original allegations about the "atheist community" are apparently not open to discussion.
Question them, ask for clarification, even politely and dispassionately , you get banned.

Oh, there's plenty of deserved (you know how to pronounce that right?) snark and putdowns. Links are posted and analysed logically.

Condescension? Maybe. Please point it out with a link.

Evil? Stupid? Eighth grade girls? Matter of opinion. And opinions are common.

My opinion is that A+ is nothing more than a bunch of over-zealous, invested and confused no-all, no-nothings masquerading as saviours of people who have no need or desire to be saved. Opinion is funny like that.

I note that you only quoted and replied to a part of my post.

And by the way, what is your position? Sorry but it's a bit hard to work out from this post.
 
Many years ago, a male student, was charged with staring at girls. When it came his time to defend his actions he stated the following, that he had the right to “life liberty and the pursuit of happiness” (I hear that is written down somewhere) and watching females was his happiness. The charges were dropped.


Aren't we all, maybe not, glad that our parents somehow got together.

First you say that a person shouldn't imply that JREF contains snark and putdowns, then on the same page you say there's plenty. That's all I was pointing out.

I didn't reply to your suggestion that everyone's rude over there and somehow not here, or that you ascribe a motivation to A+ of wanting to speak for all atheism. I thought I kind of covered those before. I don't know what you'd want me to add.

If you just copy-and-paste this into multiple discussions, it's hard to work out if it's an honest question.

The coffee and elevator jokes go a long way toward proving that the skeptical community doesn't contain people insensitive to sexism.

I can insult public figures or ideologies all I want to here. But what can't do with out some reprimand is insult you. The idea is to not attack the arguer. But nothing stops me from declairing un flattering opinions I hold of a group.

I was pointing out that you asserted two arguments that contradicted.

Nothing stops you from doing this, but it makes your overall argument less convincing.
