I have it from an authoritative source that Finding Bigfoot will be shooting an episode in Connecticut. This being a small state, I will make it a point to attend their town-hall yahoo meeting, whenever and wherever it might be. What would you like me to ask the Not-Finding Bigfoot folks?

Matt Moneymaker was on Twitter begging for "credible" witnesses to come forward. Not just "people who want to be on tv".

There goes 99.99% of the people who were planning to attend....

It's not like they are going to check anyone's credibility.

They will be looking for people who will do okay on TV and have an interesting tale.

Ask them who Bobo's dealer is, whether or not Ranae is single, what's up with Matt's face, and if you have time, ask them why they bother bringing the other fella, I forget his name now...

MM is an example of life imitating art... this case, Bigfoot. He, like so many other believers, is a large, hairy, costumed nocturnal bipedal omnivorous primate that goes about the forest shrieking and knocking on trees....

Did any of these experts examine the original film? As much as I’ve read, all such experts examined copies. So if we accept your statement that all copies are discredited as evidence and useless, then it follows that FX experts using copies for analysis are basing their opinions on useless and discredited evidence and thus their opinions are useless as well.

If we accept your argument that the opinion of these FX experts has merit or weight in supporting a conclusion of a hoax, then we must accept that copies are useful and reliable evidence.

You have just discredited the opinions of the very FX experts you then rely upon to support your argument for the film being a hoax, or you have discredited your argument that copies are useless. Discrediting your own argument with another of your own arguments does not inspire confidence in your reasoning skills, or confidence that the other arguments you offered have merit.

I understand your need to look at this story from both sides and have an impartial outlook, but seriously.. you're thinking about this wayyy too hard...

It's quite clearly a fella in a suit, how this still fails to be grasped by anyone over the age of 10 is beyond my comprehension.

I don't understand where this "lack of solution" came from, regarding the PGF.

The solution is/should be clear enough to anyone who is willing to use their grey matter in the appropriate ways.

This is almost sounding a little like a creationist argument... There is a severe lack of solution there, because they're so hellbent on living in a world of total stupidity and are unwilling to see any sense, no matter how blatant it is.

Clearly, the PGF is not footage of a real-life Bigfoot, as such a thing is nonsensical at best, but in all due respect, the fact that Bigfoot ain't around shouldn't be the only "smoking gun" here.

Everything about the footage is blatantly shady, as is everything to do with Roger Patterson.

I fail to understand your stance on the footage and its supposed "lack of solution."

The solution is: use your melon. It's a fella in a costume, I've seen school Christmas plays that were more realistic than the PGF. No foolies, St. Austins primary school does a great nativity!
