And just like in the Romney/Obama debate, Ryan could not give details. Even if, as he says, the details need to be worked out later in congress, to win this thing, I think they need to at least put forward some draft details, even if they admit they would be subject to change,

I think that's a good point. Most here are democratics, so it plays well to them... But it's beginning to look like the Al Gore sighs at some points... With that said, I'd say Biden is winning.... It's a good debate... There is no thrashing going on, but Biden is mostly looking good. I'm surprised how in his element he seems.

Actually, I'm pretty sure he was holding back with Palin. The Republicans would have screamed bloody murder if he did to her what he's doing to Ryan tonight.
 
The moderator is doing a much better job than Lehrer, IMO.

That was very uncomfortable to watch, actually. He treated her gently... terrified that she'd melt down completely and leave him looking like a big bully. The debate probably would have gone better for her if she had. :rolleyes:

Not really... actually he was a whole lot more reserved in the Palin debate. I am sure they were worried about him looking like he was beating up on a defenseless woman (which was a legitimate concern, she couldn't bring her shot gun to the debate and she sure as h+ll didn't bring any other weapons... like a brain... with her either).
