2012 Debates

The stock market is soaring?
Yes.

You really deserve this guy Rand. In 4 years you still havn't figured out that liberalism has never worked anywhere. I'm glad your stuck with it though.
You would need to define "liberalism" but given that all of the nations high in HDI, GDP etc are modern liberal democracies and all have strong social safety nets including wellfare and universal healthcare I'd have to say that's utter nonsense.

There are no successful laissez-faire capitalist nations. All of the flourishing nations rely on fiscal and monetary policies, regulation and social programs (IOW: liberalism).

So, I don't really know what your claim is but I seriously doubt that whatever it is you could defend it.

It is telling that these "conservatives" choose to live in the liberal West and not the conservative Middle East. It's almost of if they're full of ****.

I watched enough of the "debate" to become physically ill. Obama was predictable. Romney was not.

Romney's positions shift like the sand in a strong wind, and Obama could not predict what Romney's "position du jour" would be, especially since there seems to be no concerns on Romney's part about consistency or hypocrisy. How can one prepare for a debate against a man who changes his views as often as he changes his socks?

"Sun Tzu, you magnificent bastard! I read your book." - Mitt Romney.

It's hilarious when Romney's cheerleaders come out of the woodwork after one perceived victory, while being notably absent during his fustercluck of repeated failures.

It's easy to root for a team right after a win. Not so much during the string of losses that preceded it.

Where has he lost?

Seems like you guys have been doin all the losin:)

No, I just love tweaking you libs. Its really a waste of time to be on here, even now I have a job I have to get back to, unlike you guys.

Lol!

"Blarg! Obama & the ebil libruls have made it so we can't get jobs! I'd say more but I have to go to work."

I'm calling Poe, for now. This guys just fits the mold of the talk-radio listening moron too well. It's got to be an act.

Why are you liberals so surprised when a person invades your little cave?

Eh, he's just trying to see if he can get anyone wound up after having to lurk for the past few months while Romney has faceplanted repeatedly.

I wouldn't suggest taking him seriously :)
