They really weren't sure what the turnout would be, and I agree. It's a documentary. Ultimately, great content for netflix online, that sort of thing.

We're in a weird transition phase between movie theaters and online home streaming at this time, and theaters are going to lose out.

ETA: And this emphasizes so much of the schizophrenia on the religious right - they practically orgasm in church on a weekly basis about the joys of the coming Rapture and spending eternity in heaven with Jesus, etc; then they turn around and wring their hands in woe at the "anti-Christ" Obama coming to... fulfill the prophecies leading to the Rapture?
