I must say, however, that I can't help but be a bit worried about PC, despite his hideous beliefs and wishes. There are some unpleasant precedents regarding the behaviours and acts of people wishing and expecting for doomsday when the deadlines approach.

I sincerely hope this does not happen here. I understand your concerns, and share them, because these repeated disillusionments must cause profound shocks to such a true believer.

But I suspect that PC is even now searching for dire news items with one eye, and re-reading the prophecies with the other. Ka Apaz cannot be wrong. After all, as a quick Google search tells us, she is now in her 177th incarnation. Just think of the accumulated arcane wisdom this implies.

Thus, it must be his interpretation that has gone astray--numerology is such a tricky science! Or perhaps Teh Holy Spook^TM is testing his followers' faith. There are many possible outs for a resilient acolyte. Ummmph!

You don't know that war is imminent, you believe it. But you are wrong.

Wouldn't you be better turning your attentions towards helping your fellow countrymen and women who are dealing with floods instead of posting nonsense on the internet? At least that way you'd be doing some good in the world instead of eagerly hoping for billions to die horribly painful deaths.

I would suggest you read the Bible (specifically Jer 10:2, 27:9-10, Daniel 2:1-4, 4:7, and especially, Isaiah 47:10-14a). Not that I proclaim them to be true, but they point out the utter lack of foundation in your reasoning. The Bible specifically guides its believers away from astrology. Unless you're talking of a Holy Spirit that has nothing to do with the Holy Spirit that's in the Christian Bible, but I don't think a great number of people would make that same distinction.

PeaceCrusader seems to have cobbled together some mutant belief system largely based on Christianity. The use of astrology and this idea that the Devil isn't necessarily evil are two huge deviations.

So by your definition, fully half the year is the middle of the year - 180 days are the "middle" of the year. Take a step back, look at this, and tell me - honestly - that it makes sense to you.

Hell, if he's really desperate, he could redefine "middle of the year" as January 2 to December 30, inclusive.
