They can't intersect. The arts are real, the paranormal and the occult are not. Some people believe in that nonsense, if it makes them happy then fair enough, but they are only deluding themselves.
I'm at a bit of a loss here. In what sense is this real?

So if I like Kipling because it makes me think or produces an emotional response, there's something "real" there, but if I get the same result from some other idea it doesn't count as real?
