I caught that too. PC, Marcus is absolutely correct. There was no "considering" in your previous pronouncements. You said, without condition, that you would declare The Holy SpookTM that you've been listening to be false. That you would reject not only him/her/it but also the old crone too.

You're trying to move the goalposts again. Were you, perhaps, in the moving business during your career?

That's probably the most obvious evidence of the erosion of PeaceCrusader's confidence in his position.

A month ago he was so sure that the end of modern civilization was on the horizon that he thought he could safely make promises like he did. Now, however, things aren't looking so good and he knows it. "I'll do it" becomes "I'll think about it."

I'm pretty sure we all suspected he had absolutely no intention of keeping his promises, which is unfortunate. Not outright denouncing a false god has to be a big negative in the Real God™'s eyes. If PeaceCrusader is as old as he claims, he doesn't have much time to repent for such a transgression.

It is Thursday in the east coast of the US.

No sign of a 200,000,000-strong Chinese army near the Philippines, or anywhere else. No nuclear bombs falling anywhere.

I have been enjoying replays of the first day of Olympics sport tonight (womens' football) and look forward to watching the men's sides start play tomorrow. PC, did you know that the games are underway already?

What have you been up to, PeaceCrusader? Hiding behind duct tape and draft stoppers? Desperately searching online for the tiniest news story that supports your crazy idea that the end of the world is nigh?

I suggest you forget that and instead go out and take a look at the sun and enjoy the world.

Your "holy spirit" prophet has been exposed to the world as a fraud and a liar and the sooner you accept that that's all she is, the better for you.

And please stop spreading her lies.

That means that Beijing, Manilla, Karachi, Delhi, Moscow, Tel Aviv, Paris, London and now Washington, DC have passed through yet the fifth consecutive Armageddon Wednesday. Nary a blip on the radar, so far. There are no nuclear capitals left to experience The Fifth Wednesday, so I'm calling for PeaceCrusader to renounce himself as a false prophet and get on to cheering for the Philippine boxing team at the Olympics. (You might actual medal in one or two divisions, PC. Far more realistic a hope than praying for the end of the world, don't you think?)

Also, since you have defined the "Holy Spirit" as omniscient and omnipotent, the fact that the communication you claimed to have gotten from this make-believe entity is false proves that this make-believe entity doesn't exist.

Ironically, I discovered My power as the Goddess of Random Equipment Malfunctions when I was working as senior technician for a university IT training department. I got a trouble call from one of the classrooms, and the moment I stepped through the door the computer immediately started working, even before I could lay a hand on it. I've also sweet-talked a photocopier into giving Me copies when it was supposedly broken, and caused an elevator to stop and wait for Me just by calling out to it to wait. (The people already on board insisted that none of them had touched the "Open Door" button.)

And no, I'm not going to try for the MDC. That's the problem with having random powers... I can't duplicate a darned thing, in or out of the lab. :cool:
 
He won't disappear- months from now someone with the name "Soldier of Truth" or something like that will be here saying that nuclear war will disrupt the U.S. Presidential inauguration, or some other similar BS.

According to New Testament woo, I don't think PC can repent now. Associating with and propagating the words of a false prophet who's pretending to channel the Holy Spirit? I think that's a capital offense in Biblegod's court -- The unforgivable slander of the Holy Spirit.

According to Reality, though, PC is fine. No one seems to have been injured (although many of us are mighty annoyed with him), and we have these lovely stockpiles of chocolate and beer to see us through the weekend.
