24 minutes from Tulse Hill

I've decided to heed PCs advice and I'm spending a long weekend in Paris from Friday. It's not that far away from London, but then I'm far from convinced.

3rd & Main

I just wanted to join the OP in thanking you for this summary of the thread. Very nice.

You are very welcome. I did it mostly because I need practice in formatting posts. ;)

Here is a better thread summary:
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

That is all.

Meanwhile, it seems there are still a few believers out there...

20,000 leagues under the sea.

Mind you, reasonable preparations are one thing, but seeing lorries full of draught stoppers and duct tape being dropped off at Buck House might be a bit disconcerting.

Oh, by the way, it's 5am and Australia is still here.

One Hundred and EIGHTY

Nearly 7:00AM Wednesday in beautiful downtown Lara, and I am annoyed because it looks like I will have to go to work after all.

And I, for one, was willing to welcome our new 200,000,000 Chinese overlords.

12:00 Noon

In Manila. Twelve hours to go. Does everyone have their duck tape and dachshund shaped draft stoppers? I understand Akhenaten over at Armageddon R Us is having a special on draft stoppers. Just dial 1-800-LowRads and tell 'em PeaceCrusader sent you.

3 Days and Counting Down... ... to the commencement of the London Olympics and the ultimate failboat sailing for PC.

12 hours until Wednesday commences in the war zone and 36 hours until Wednesday passes through all the time zones of the world. PeaceCrusader, shouldn't you be readying a fallback story?

Why did Philippine President Benigno Aquino III omit the mentioning of the Spratly Islands dispute in his State of the Nation Address (SONA) last Monday? Does it mean that the Philippines is not interested at them at all? He mentioned only the Scarborough Shoals nearer the Philippines than China which China has cordoned off.

No links to the nuclear war that is not taking place? What do you have to say?

For some reason, the phrase "clutching at straws" is now stuck in my mind.

I'm loving your pictures. Thank you.

Eight to the bar.

Hang on. I just now was in the barber shop and on TV was Olympic men's basketball, namely USA vs. Spain. Have the Olympics already started? Or maybe it was an exhibition game.
