Yes, if the prophecies fail, I promise to tell the younger generations to scrutinize very well the spirit that is talking.
When the prophecies fail, you will no longer believe in Ka Apaz, as you have told us. Which means that there was no spirit, good or bad, talking, it was just Ka Apaz.

Why haven't you mentioned Nostradamus and the aliens yet?

@Paul, #1636

I did not mention Nostradamus and the extraterrestrial aliens because we may become off-tangent or off-topic. However, if the pleasure of the forumers desires that we touch of these topics, I will be glad to share them to you. The Holy Spirit mentioned to us about the ETs. I use the prophecies of Nostradamus from time to time but I am not certain if the prophecy pertains to our time and place.

If the prophecies fail, I said that I will not believe in both Ka Apaz and the Holy Spirit. There are spirits – good or bad. They are good if they come from the only true God or if He is the only true God Himself. They are bad or evil spirit if they come from false gods or if they are false gods themselves.

When the Holy Spirit appropriates the physical body of Ka Apaz, the spirit of Ka Apaz leaves her body (that is why it falls if standing up in front of the altar) and the Holy Spirit takes over. They are two different entities. They have different voices, different mannerism, different wisdom.

I did not know that what I placed in Yahoo Answers is in socyberty. It may also be in other sites. I don’t know.

Who or what is WU? I do not accept any payment. They just get my permission.

You mean they quoted you without informing you about being quoted on their site?

After the calamitous war, we will have a new age, a spiritual awakening or enlightenment, and peace will reign for a long time in this world. The population would have been reduced by a third and there will be much arable land that will be available. People will be living in planned cities and communities. Would you like to live in a city where the land is free and you are guaranteed possession of the land for 50 years, renewable, and which you can bequeath to an heir?

Is this yours, PC?
If so, where can I learn more about this far-sighted project?

That's how many responses you get if you do a search in Google for "China Accuses the US...". The first several thousand are from this week, but 1/3 of those are about China accusing the US of meddling in the affairs of the Korean Pensinsula and another 15% are about China accusing the US of meddling in Russo-Sino relationships. But if you go through to older articles, you'll see that it almost looks as though Chinese diplomats are not allowed to make a statement regarding a US position on any topic (Any!!! Topic!!!) that doesn't open with "The US is meddling in..." :

Chinese Labor
Chinese Manufacturing
Chinese Internal Affairs
China Currency Stability
Chinese Human Rights
The Affairs of Myanmar
Chinese hegemony over Tibet
Chinese hegemony over Taiwan
The Korean Situation
The Nepalese Situation
The South China Sea (vs Viet Nam) Situation
The North China Sea (vs Japan) Situation
China's right to trade with Africa
etc...
etc...

12 Days and Counting Down...

And the countdown to Dread Wednesday (IV), based on Beijing time, is 50 hours and 23 minutes until the beginning of last day of life as we know it.

There are spirits – good or bad. They are good if they come from the only true God or if He is the only true God Himself. They are bad or evil spirit if they come from false gods or if they are false gods themselves.
How do you know this? What evidence do you have for any of it? None, right?

Or Ka Apaz is a moderately talented actor. Again, you have no evidence to suggest her performances are anything more than that, and you'll soon have evidence that's exactly what they are. Once you know for a fact that this woman has fooled you for nearly 30 years, why would you still assume there might be someone else out there who isn't also a fraud?

So you will continue to believe in Ka Apaz, you will still believe that she is inhabited by some sort of spirit, even in the face of what will be strong evidence to the contrary.

You had me going there, now it appears that you won't take away anything useful from this experience. Your next medium may not provide you with any predictions that are testable in your lifetime, this was your chance.

How do you know this? No, seriously. You seem to base an awful lot on the notion of spirits. How did you establish that there are spirits? How did you establish their properties? How did you analyze the spirit that supposedly takes over this woman?

If you truly care about reality and truth, the answer to these questions should help you a lot.

They are good if they come from the only true God or if He is the only true God Himself. They are bad or evil spirit if they come from false gods or if they are false gods themselves.

You need to understand that until you have established that there are spirits and god(s) and you have a solid methodology to determine their properties, the above is just unsubstantiated gibberish. A very boring and unoriginal one at that.

Yes, I know that you think that the prophecy will validate your spirits and god(s). But you're wrong. There are quite a few mundane explanations why WW III would start at the exact time your spirit predicted and all of them much more likely than the existence of any spirits or gods.

ETA: Damn, Pixel42 beat me to it and by more than an hour. Buuuurn. :D

Worse still, he has no way of telling good spirits from evil spirits, because:
Even the Devil, an evil spirit, can say good things.

Remember Interesting Ian?
Indeed it is clear to me that the existence of fraudulent psychics makes the existence of genuine psychics more likely.

ETA: That one made it into fstdt.

Yes, if the prophecies fail, I promise to tell the younger generations to scrutinize very well the spirit that is talking.

You may be interested to know that I have experimented with the Ouija board. It has sent messages, some of them so convincing, they are very difficult to believe that they come from me or any of the other participants. This is not a lot different from your blind woman. However, where it is different, is that I don't believe for one minute the messages come from a supernatural source, i.e. spirit, holy, devilish, or otherwise. I firmly believe that the phenomena can be explained by an ideometer effect from our own brains. No spirits, but just another example of our wonderfully complex brains.
Do not believe at once. Even the Devil, an evil spirit, can say good things. Pick out the good ones and discard what they think is evil. The good ones can logically be proven to be true. Do not accept everything hook, line, and sinker. Do not belong to one particular religious group. Be selective of what the different religions believe in. Don’t be fooled, gullible and naive. Think. Use commonsense. Regarding prophecies, rely on those spirits who are from God and never from a human being.

You left out the most important caveat.

Firstly, do not believe that a supernatural explanation for the phenomena is the most likely, when in fact it is the least likely.

In addition, be self critical, analyse logically your own reasons for you wanting to believe in the supernatural as the best explanation. Above all, be dubious of any man-made god/spirit description from wherever it manifests itself. There are far too many charlatans out there who are wanting to fool you, for power, for kudos, for commercial gain, and of course the totally demented and deluded who do it because they cant help it.

How about you, Explorer? Will you believe in the Holy Spirit who I believe in if the prophecies of a nuclear world war on 07-18 and the cancellation of the 2012 Olympic Games happen?

Well, let me put it this way. I live in rural Devon, UK, and not likely to be affected by any immediate nuclear exchange in America or in the Phillipines, unless of course it is a global conflict and nukes are exchanged in a scorched earth policy by numerous nuclear powers who happen to get involved. I will have probably at the very least, a few hours to contemplate the implications of a nuclear scenario without running for cover.

In that situation, I may very well think about your prophecy for a short time. However, I think that as I am skeptic first in all things, my initial thought is likely to assume that it is all a massive coincidence, and happening purely by chance.

Apart from the prophecy coming true, your Holy Spirit would not have touched me in any other way. If I was then dying, subsequently from say, radiation effects very slowly, I would probably think that I should have personally tried to do something to stop it, however small. If I had done that, at least I could say to myself and my family and friends that I tried. It would help me just a little bit in my dying moments. What I would not be thinking though, is that I was about to be transported to a hell, or a heaven, only that I would be returning to a state before I was conceived, and that was a happy oblivion, and I am content with that.

Out of curiosity, any evidence of that 200 million person army anywhere? Considering I'm in the US Army Reserves, I can tell you we'd be surpremely interested in any indications of a build up of forces... :D

11 days to go before the Games start...
Are you going to run away after next Wednesday or leave it until when the Games are underway ?
And those 200,000,000 Chinese troops seem to be missing...

I must confess that as we get closer to Wednesday and FMZ's clock hitting the big fat goose egg, I find myself feeling a bit sorry for PC. Sure, he bears some responsibility for his unwillingness to think for himself. But it surely is a waste of much of his life that he has devoted to this nonsense. That's sad. And it is clear that while he says he will declaim his guru, it is clear to me that he's still too vested in spirits and the like to really learn from this episode. And that's sadder still.

One last note: the numbers game has been great fun. I'll be sorry to see it relegated to the JREF history pile.

Now that PC has made it clear that his belief in channeling and spirits in general won't be shaken, I expect he will say that poor Ka Apaz was possessed by a bad spirit who lied. I feel a bit of sympathy as well, it would be hard to admit that you had been deceived for 30 years.

I agree; I do find it tremendously sad that Peace Crusader has invested so much time and money in this farrago of nonsense. I said above that I hope he won't be too distressed when he realises that the prophecies are nothing of the sort. I expect he will try to spin it as Marcus has suggested so that he can hang on to belief, but I hope he is brave enough to face facts.
